Shoe Hole Repair Patch, Self-Adhesive Sneaker Heel Repair Patch

I purchased these Shoe Hole Repair Patches and so far I have only used one of the larger patches. I had a hole in one of my Trainers, roughly in the centre of the heel part. I used one of the larger patches to repair it. It was very easy to apply to my Trainer and appeared to stick very well. I went on a long walk and It had helped me not to get a blister on my heel. When I took my Trainers off of my feet, I had half expected that the patch might have come off of my Trainer or at the least, had curled up around the edges.(previous experience with similar products) To my surprise, not only was the patch still in place, there was also no curling up around the edges. After a week of using the same patch on walks, It has still kept the same quality, which I'm very impressed with. With this experience of using this product so far, I think that they are good value for money and I would buy them again.

Expectations were not high on these but they do a job. I am not sure the pad will stay on for a very long time but if you take care in putting your shoes on and off this will help its longevity. Personally I used on a pair of Adidas Terrex Freehiker 2 shoes. Outsole is still in average condition and this was the first option before looking to spend another £160 on a new pair. This will definitely and some extended life before having to buy a new pair. Application is straight forward - just take your time and use caution not to rub the pad too much when putting foot into and out of shoes. Obviously adhesion will be dependent on the surface of what it needs to stick to.

Comes unstuck after three wears. When you put your foot into the shoe, even while holding it, the ‘taped’ part catches on your sock and rolls down. Doesn’t matter what size the sticker is. None of them stick very well. Fine as a temporary fix until you can bring the shoe to a repair shop. As a temp fix- they're comfy!

These have worked perfectly on my trainers and such a relief on my feet. Great value for money considering they have effectively saved me buying another pair of trainers for something so minor.

For some reason my heels always wear a hole in the backs of all my shoes. The shoes themselves could look brand new, but would be super uncomfortable due to the hole worn in the backs. If you have a similar problem, these heel stickers will be a lifesaver! Be mindful as you apply them, lining them up very carefully. I tend to like to remove the insole to apply them so the bottom of the sticker lies underneath it. They’re super sticky, and the two sizes mean you can use them in most types of shoes. I mostly use them in airforce shoes and my docs (yes somehow my heels were able to begin to wear through my docs lol). I’ve even started to apply these as a precautionary measure to prevent damage to shoes. In terms of durability, I have some in a pair of airforces that have been going strong for over 6 months. To be honest I think it’s more likely that I’ll wear a hole in the stickers before they’d ever fall off. Considering how much money these have saved me through not needing to replace shoes, they are great value for money.

Bit of a hit and miss, I've had some patches remain fixed and others have come off sometimes within a short time of first using it. Having said that, they are preventing the heel of my trainers wearing down like happened with trainers before I put these on. Another benefit, if you wear your trainers without tying your laces, these help reduce the amount of slipping up and down your trainer does as you walk, so makes them more comfortable! Would recommend but maybe ensure they are stuck on for a short time before wearing the shoes to ensure adhesion.

Takes a bit to make sure you have it in the right position before sticking them down. Only because the adhesive is very goo.

Edges lift off and can't manage major bends

I had high hopes these would stay in place over the hole in the back of my trainers but the edges lift off as soon as I started walking in them. They are very sticky so mainly stay in place but with the edges lifting, it started to rub on my heel.

Doesn’t stick and comes off if you leave your shoes in the sun…. Used super glue and still peeled off
