Our family's favorite book!!!! We stumbled on it at BabiesRUs and it had us laughing in store so we bought 2; one for us and one for our nieces. We enjoyed it so much and so did they that we've since bought many more to gift to our fellow parent-friends, and each person has had equally great reviews. Kiddos seem to love the BAD GUY MUSTACHE GRRRRR and they love pointing at the pictures or being involved with his adventures!!! Very cute book to have sitting around, and it never gets old to read (so far). Illustrations are absolutely adorable and detailed just enough to occupy children, and it's a good hardcover book you can leave sitting around toddlers.

I got this for my niece for her first birthday :) I read this book back in 2010 with my daughter when she was 1 and we fell in love with it! It's such a cute story and there's others that continue with the baby. I love that it was a hard copy too incase my niece spills anything on it, it can just be wiped off.

Mustache baby is such a fun book that the little kids and grandparents all love. Will the baby with a mustache have a good guy mustache or a bad guy mustache? Fun little book for boys and girls alike. If you need a gift for any young reader, this is a fun one. This book is also a good one to take to a baby shower so the new Mom and Dad can build a little library for their kiddos.

this book is great and totally off the wall... in a fun, refreshing way. the humor and silliness are along the lines of Boss Baby (Marla Frazee) but Mustache Baby is even quirkier. the question is: does that baby's mustache make him a good guy or a bad guy? while children will certainly find it engaging, parents may find it especially enjoyable because the humor hits at both kid and adult levels. and after all, who doesn't want to see cute illustrations of a baby with a mustache?? the reason i give it 4 rather than 5 stars is the text. while it is fun and hip, some of the words, such as "disreputable," are inappropriate for a picture book. i understand the humor in presenting a giant word like that, but it means i'm either asking my 3-year-old to learn a rarely-used-5-syllable word, or i'm substituting it for something else. not a huge deal, just too adult-centric. my other problem is a story issue on a particular page. i won't spoil the book, but a couple pages before the end, there seems to be a page missing. the problem is solved *poof* just like that (even the illustrations reflect a change we were not told about) and we all move on without question to the very funny joke at the end. i do love the ending, but we get there too easily. still, very funny and a visual treat, Mustache Baby is bound to bring laughs!
