Ameer Al Oud Intense Oud for Unisex Eau de Parfum Spray, 3.4 Ounce

This stuff is the best fragrance I've gotten all year. I got immediate compliments the first day I wore it. It's powerful but it mellows throughout the day. It is very, very warm sugar scented with a base of oud wood, leaning toward the vanilla side without actually smelling like food. I really want to wear this everyday but I know that I will go nose blind pretty quickly because it's so strong yet subtle. Another win for Lattafa, this and Khamrah and Vintage Radio are still my favorites.

First night out with this on and I got two compliments before I even took my jacket off. These compliments came from both sexes too so it's definitely appealing and pulls compliments if that's what your going for. This is a sweet, smoky fragrance that reminded me of toasting marshmallows in a fireplace but the smoke is not over powering. It opens kind of weird and synthetic but that was the first spray out of the box and hopefully that will go away after a while of maturing. Since this is definitely a fall/winter scent and we are entering spring as I write this, it has all summer to grow up. This stuff has some impressive longevity also. I sprayed, went to dinner, stayed for drinks, closed the bar down, went to bed, woke up and still smelled amazing and sweet and edible! Definitely over 8 hours but probably longer, I did have to shower it off and even then I could catch a faint skin scent of it! This is for date night when you want her close or movie night at home when you want her to cuddle up.

This is actually a pretty good smelling fragrance. It is supposed to smell like Replica By The Fireplace, and I really do agree. However the opening is very different, to me it smells almost spicy and kind of like rum. When you look at the notes I guess it is just the agarwood though. This opening lasts for upto an hour and a half, and at first I didn't like the opening as much but now it is more manageable. Once the opening has died down it smells literally just like By The Fireplace, around 80% I would say. I get the smoky woody sents l, mixed in with a touch of sweetness. Both the opening and the dry down does project a good amount. The opening just a little more. Once it starts to dry, the projection slowly starts to die down. I would say it easily projects for up to 4 to sometimes even 5 hours. But then you can still smelling on skin all the way up to the 6.5 hour mark. And on clothing it does linger for a little bit longer, but it is just a very close sent. Overall it is a well done fragrance but some people may not like it, especially the opening and the oud sents that it carries. I would've preferred if the opening wasnt so spicy or oudsy, I cant really tell what it is. But it is a good sent for cold weather. I thought the shipping could have been better but I did order 3 other fragrances along with it. There does seem to be a very tiny crack on the bottle but it still holds up very well, there isnt any leaking.

Normally I would never buy a fragrance blindly. But after reading some reviews and going buy the price I decided to take a chance. OMG this fragrance is insane. It has a sweet smoky smell. Smells like a $200 dollar fragrance. Amazing

Man, this is a complement-magnet. Long lasting, unique and strong masculine scent. So so good.

Exceptional value with a great scent!

I understood this was to be a clone of Replica’s By the Fireplace. It’s in the same family, but by no means a clone. It has pretty good hang time, better than the original. But it lacks the essence of the original.

Tiene un aroma a oud avainillado exquisito, muy maduro y sofisticado. Su rendimiento es espectacular: dura toda la jornada laboral intacto. Eso sí, para uso profesional recomiendo moderar las atomizaciones (con 2 o 3 es suficiente), ya que proyecta muchísimo y se hace notar con elegancia.

Se cercate un profumo che passi inosservato, passate oltre. Ameer Al Oudh Intense Oud è un’esperienza olfattiva potente che grida carattere fin dalla prima nebulizzazione. Non è solo un profumo, è un’atmosfera. Il DNA Olfattivo Appena spruzzato, l'Oud è protagonista: è un legno scuro, quasi "bruciato", ma non risulta mai medicinale o sgradevole. La magia avviene dopo circa 15-20 minuti, quando emerge una nota di zucchero vanigliato che addolcisce le spigolosità del legno. Immaginate di sedervi accanto a un camino acceso mangiando dei marshmallow tostati: è esattamente questa la sensazione. Performance e Scia Qui arriviamo al punto forte. La persistenza è mostruosa: Sulla pelle: Supera tranquillamente le 8-10 ore. Sui vestiti: Potreste sentirlo anche dopo il lavaggio. La proiezione è importante nelle prime due ore, quindi consiglio di non esagerare con gli spruzzi (2 o 3 sono più che sufficienti per farsi notare). A chi lo consiglio? È un profumo decisamente invernale o autunnale, perfetto per le serate fresche. È unisex, anche se pende leggermente verso il maschile per via della nota fumosa. Se amate fragranze come By the Fireplace di Maison Margiela, troverete in questo Lattafa un'alternativa incredibile a una frazione del prezzo. I have both and yes, they smell the same, not 1 to 1 but like 90%. Which to most people, you can’t tell the base notes of the Margiela is just a lot more tobacco, more manly I would say, and the Lattafa is more sweat and gender-neutral when first sprayed. After both set, the Margiela just smells like tobacco and the Lattafa has those sweet spicy notes but not tobacco. The intense oud will last literally 18 hours, projecting for about 7 hours. You basically have to have a shower to get it off - I love it. The by the fireplace will last about 5 hours and project for like 30 minutes every week. Save yourself your money and GET THIS. IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY. 10 out of 10 will buy again. I use the Margiela as a base and use this one on top so it lasts longer.
