We recently moved into a 5th wheel camper full time and because of where the bed is in the 5th wheel section, my side of the bed is 3+ feet from the floor and I'm short, so I needed something to step on to get into the bed. At first I used one of those square storage ottomans we've had around forever, and that wasn't terrible because it gave me the step up I needed AND extra storage (which you can never have enough of in a camper), but it blocked us from being able to close the partition which closes the bathroom area off for privacy. We had to move it frequently which is an inconvenience of course, but there's also not really anywhere to move it to since we're in such a small space, so it would always be in our way. I looked at several different storage ottomans on Amazon and landed on this. It's an inch or two taller than what I was using before, so that's taken a little getting used to, but it is a perfect fit! I couldn't have designed anything better - It slides right up next to the bed and isn't in the way of closing the partition at all, plus it doesn't cover the one heater vent in the bedroom and it has a little more storage space than what I was using before as well. I put it together myself in about 5 minutes using the allen wrench that came with it. It's strong and feels better to step on than the one I used before because all of your weight is going onto a metal frame, not a cheaply made ottoman. Overall, I'm very impressed with this item and I would recommend it. I will likely buy a few more to use in other areas of the camper too because there are a lot of cabinets I need a step stool to access, but these can double as extra storage space (that our dogs can't get into) and a foot rest for when you're relaxing, so I don't see any down side!

I needed an ottoman style seat for temporary use at my current location but a lot of the other ones were too short in height or didn’t really seem stable even though they rate them at 250lbs. At least with this one you actually get a metal frame, unlike the others which just fold out to form it’s shape. First impressions are good. Easy to assemble and the metal frame gives a good peace of mind when I’m sitting on it. The description says up to static 600lbs but I think it’s a bit exaggerated. The actual seat is a relatively thin cushion on what seems to be a somewhat thin plywood or MDF board. I’m about 250lbs and honestly, so far it does seem sturdy enough but I am a little worried on longevity, but we’ll see. I intend to sit on this for prolong periods of time so adding another seat cushion is probably the way to go. Otherwise you can feel yourself sitting on the wood because of the thinner cushion. Overall it’s one of the better ottoman style seats/storage I’ve come across and the height is higher than the rest I’ve seen. At around 5’ 10” tall I get an almost 90 degree angle at my knees when sitting, which is more comfortable. Definitely recommended.

Got this to go with a vanity. The seat is comfy and frame is sturdy. I've already used it more than once to reach the top shelves of my closet and bookshelves as well. The storage decent size as well. Only qualm I have is part of the seat. In order to keep the cushion in place, there are blocks of wood nailed to the bottom to keep it from sliding. Two of those blocks fell off within a month and I've put in new nails to all the blocks to prevent that in the future. Happy with it in all other ways.

Love it way better than expected!!

It was easy to put together. It is nice looking. The stoarge area is pretty big. But the overall qaulity of the stool is not good. It is not holding up. The padded area has already split at the seems after little use. The price wss not bad.

It does as advertised and holds pretty well. I sometimes forget I have this thing under my desk, it just became an everyday part of my office.

It came nicely packed and it was very easy to assemble. We love this small stool/ container for our walk in closest, where there is no bench. I had hard time putting on socks without a bench. We always wanted to redo the closet but this stool solved my issue!!

I bought this for putting my legs up on under my desk, it was fine for a while then the woóden piece that kept the lid from sliding around fell off. Now the lid slides around whenever I moved my leg or legs. Good for storage still no problems with that but the wooden block falling off made it kind of annoying for the use I needed it for.
