Been using it for a couple of weeks now and it's worked just fine. Only problem i have is that the type c plug doesn't seem to work. The USB A plug worked but still.. . it's got decent speed so so CDs were fine, haven't tried DVDs yet but I expect they work just fine.

I purchased this product last month. Tried to use it multiple times on 2 laptops.I used it mainly to copy contents from my personal CDs. It could not copy even 1 file of 650 MB even after 1 hour.Even my new laptop (purchased recently) stopped working and had to be restarted forcefully.I can not get replacement also as replacement period is over.It is complete waste of money.Pros : low cost or cheapCons : Sub standard product, waste of money, very very slow, not useful at all.

W is for win because it is so hard finding dvds and dvd players today, and this is the easiest way to see dvds in your laptop anytime anywhere! why didn't i find this awesome product before?! it is perfect and portable and easy to connect and use and works smoothly. the packaging is so secure and great for the price, even the places to keep the usb after using is amazing.

The cd reader writer was purchased for INR 1220 and it was found to be non functional.. why is that Rs 300 was deducted and Rs 920 was returned. Ideally should have received the refund of entire amount of Rs 1220.

CD/DVD unit worked without any issues at all. Plugs into the USB 3.0 port and runs without any issues or need for downloading any drivers to work as well.CD fits the spindle with no issues and operations are simple. Though the cord for the USB is stupidly short, it wasn't an issue considering my PC has top loaded 3.0 ports and it's flat on the top but I do see the problem with most reviews. All in all very effective and very low cost.
