Works great

My wife "borrowed" my cheepo Harbor Freight slip-joint pliers from my workshop so I decided to go a little bit upscale and order both the 6" and 8" Craftsman versions. The "theft" worked out for me as the Craftsman pliers have much more comfortable grips and have the overall look and feel of quality tools. Perhaps I can get her to "borrow" my chain saw. ;-)

It is as expected from Craftsman

I am a Craftsman tool nut. I have purchased tools that I don't even need, just because they look cool. I gave these pliers 4 stars because they are not US made and the retaining rivet is not tight enough. The 2 jaws of the pliers are a bit loose. I will probably try to hammer the rivet down to tighten them up.

I'm very satisfied with these pliers. It does what it is supposed to do very well. It is sitting in my tool box.

quality craftsman tool

I purchased this product for one thing and really only one thing: I had two broken and slightly exposed ends of two bolts sticking out of their respective slots. Tried all of my other lesser pliers to no avail which is when I decided to buy these slip joint pliers. Ten very sweaty minutes later the two broken bolt tips were in my hand and the pliers were gleaming. Not only are they ergonomic, but they can REALLY put some force into those twists.Short Review: These are great pliers that do their intended job.
