New! 20 Peets Coffee Sampler Variety PackNo Decaf (2014 Brazil Minas Naturais, Cafe Domingo, House Blend, Major Dickasons, French Roast)

I read that some of these variety packs come packaged in a brown paper bag. Rest assured, if you purchase this item AND it's fulfilled by Amazon, it won't come in original packaging, but it will come nicely packed in a small white box. The best reason to buy this variety pack is the ability to try five of Peet's varieties of bold and medium roast coffees to see which ones are your favorite. I'll admit, I recently joined the Keurig bandwagon, holding out for many years because I just prefer strong coffee. But I missed my old Tassimo and decided to give to Keurig and this pack a try. I know that Major Dickason's coffee is good, because that's what I used in our drip coffee maker. But I really wanted to try some of their other pods to add variety to our coffee routine. While the two medium roast coffees are a little weaker than the others, they are still very satisfying. Cafe Domingo is actually one of my favorites, just behind Major Dickason's. Both the French and House Roast pods are very strong, and I slightly prefer the flavor of the House Blend over the French Roast. The Brazil Minas Naturais might be considered the weakest of the bunch, but I did like the flavor, and might keep some around for visitors who don't necessarily like a bold blend. I've also tried Jet Fuel and Black Tiger pods from Coffee People. While both are strong, I do prefer the flavor of the more expensive Peet's pods. At least I have quite a few options to add to my rotation!

People doing reviews stating that Brazil Minas Naturais roast is false advertising because they are ending up with just Brazil are misinformed. Peets changed the name of the product. "Brazil" is the same roast. You can read it in the product description on Peets website. They say, "Formerly known as Brazil Minas Naturais." Anyway my review of this product is excellent. All dates were 5 to 10 months BUBD stamped. Peets is definitely quality coffee. Having this sampler is a good way to taste a few of the most popular roasts to see which you like. I don't even have a K-cup machine. Cut them open and use a filter in your drip brewer and just brew one cup....if your drip brewer can do that small of a run.

Out of the five flavors here, the only one that stood out to me was the Cafe Domingo - great tasting coffee variety that I will add to my permanent rotation. The others aren't terrible, there's just nothing that made them that much better than average. The French Roast had a distinct, but not bothersome, aftertaste. These sampler variety packs are a great way to go when you want to try a small quantity of something, just examine the expiration dates (imprinted on the sides of the K-cups, kind of hard to see) when you get yours - a couple of our varieties had expirations within a month of receipt.

Provides a good opportunity to try several different varieties of Peets. They’re all good.

I like Peets coffee, but think the bagged (beans/grounds) coffees are better than these cups. For now, I mostly use my Nespresso machine instead. When I use my Keurig I tend to prefer the Marley coffee - it is not so bitter while still providing a bold flavor.

I am a coffee perfectionist. I cant stand weak coffee. I never had a k-cup coffee that I would call good coffee. But after reading the reviews, I decided to try Peets coffee. It beat all my expectations. Its good coffee! Its comparable to coffee press coffee. It tastes like it has more coffee in the k-cup then all the others I've tried. Now I want to buy a 90 pack, but cant decide between French roast, House blend or Major Dickasons. I rate my coffee by how close it comes to tasting like company brew, company brew being the lowest rating. This is as far away from company brew as you can get, one of the best coffee's I've had.

It's mos def an expensive way to buy Peets. My preference would be a bag of beans, that I can grind on my own, but what are you gonna do if you work in an office with the specialty coffee machine? You can buy a generic tiny re-usable filter and use ground Peets or you can buy these! These are fun because you get a little variety.

I thought I purchased a variety pack of Decaffeinated coffee pods but I am not convinced they are. This was to be a gift to a friend and instead of coming in a manufacturers box as I expected there are 25 pods randomly placed in a plain cardboard box. Most importantly, none of the pods say they are decaffeinated. This is a problem for anyone who can not have caffeine. I went to return the item as I am not satisfied only to find it is not returnable. Go figure! Very unhappy with this purchase.
