How do the brakes of this Utility Cart work?

Dear customer, all you have to do is slam on the brakes and this rolling service cart won't move.

Can the cart be assembled and dis-assembled for transporting and travel to different locations? Would like a portable cart for cake deliveries.

This is an awesome cart for hauling around. It's so light I carry everywhere. Even on short, 1 hr projects. It's narrow so it gets around crowded areas. Strong enough to move a totally assembled porcelain toilet around. Let my wife use it for her drywall and painting projects and she also says there no match. When working on a slope, the brakes work perfect.

Can you wash it down often?

Yes! I've only had it a few months. Ive washed it dow several times already. I love this cart!@

Are the casters rubber or soft non abrasive for fine flooring?

Worth the money. Tough and durable Friction fit so if one try’s to lift cart with heavy load one may need to lock metal pipes into plastic sockets with some type of pin of your own design.
