Wiha 71397 6 Piece Hex Insert Bit Set - Metric

Recently I have noticed a number of “you assemble it” products are using metric internal hex wrenching “Allen” fasteners. While most include s small Allen wrench, these hex bits are much better. I have a few “handles” for insert bits. I have SAE bits but quality metric inserts bit were hard to find.

These fit snug (but not super-snug) into the hex screws on my Arrma Kraton 6S RC truck. I bought these specifically for use on RC cars and so far they are working out really well. I've only used the two smallest bits in the set (2mm and 2.5mm) but they fit the heads really well and seem like they wont strip out the heads like I've had trouble with using cheap-o Chineseium bits in the past. Dispite being affordable these seem to be fairly high quality. I'll edit this post later once I've had more time to see how durable they are long-term. But my first impression is that these bits are great and a killer bargain all things considered. I have been pleasantly surprised by how good these are and I will recommend them to my buddies who also run RC. I use these with a T-handle driver and with a power drill with a 6" extension.

Wiha is king when it comes to hex tools. Despite heavy use, none of the bits have deformed as is common with tiny hexes and torx.

Better than expected!

Wiha makes the best quality bits that I have ever used. They are precisely machined and made of a very high-quality quality steel. I don't mind paying more for bits that last through more than just a few uses. I got so sick of paying for bits that were pretty much shot after one or two uses. That's when I decided to pay a more for a more well-known brand, and I'm so very glad I did. They fit extremely well in the driver chuck and in the fastener. The stock picture doesn't show it, but mine came in a good quality 6-hole bit rail/holder. Don't hesitate to buy this brand if you're looking for a better bit.

1st set had 2 3mm bits. Amazon replaced it. 2nd set was correct. Fit is good. Not sloppy like cheaper ones. Important on smaller bits.

I am an automation engineer and work on robotics hardware all day everyday. I dealt with the hassle of stripped screws everyday before I bought these Wiha bits. Stripped screws in hard to get to spots have costed me hours each day. I can honestly say I haven’t wasted a minute on them since I bought these bits. These bits have amazing quality and always a perfect fit. Slowly converting my whole toolbox to Wiha. Although Wiha is slightly pricey, you can always count on the quality and performance. Wiha, please come out with a telescopic bit screwdriver!!!

Wanted to have some quality built bits when I work on my bike that are not too expensive Because it is a bit pack I think the price is great vs purchasing each bit individually Fit is good and hopefully they maintain the bolt heads and do not wreck them from use as some of the cheaper bits seem to do

Creía que vendrían las puntas sueltas como las milwaukee, pero fue grato ver que trae su holder sin ligeramente diferentes a las de la publicación pero igual traen la marca grabada en el acero, habrá que ponerlas a prueba
