Lighter, better looking and over all better sound than the Yeti.
I was skeptical of this mic despite the glowing reviews - even the limited reviews on youtube are good, with most finding that the limitations of the microphone are far fewer than it's benefit - which, frankly, is it's price. I picked it up for $24 dollars on a flash sale, but it's well worth the normal price for how it sounds. I picked it up with the Neewer NB-35 Microphone boom arm (which is PERFECT for this microphone, btw and comes with a pop filter!) Less than 50 bucks for a complete usb microphone setup. That alone is pretty great. Less than a week after buying this, however, I was at bestbuy for a big sale, and saw that the Blackout edition Blue Yeti was on sale with the ghost recon wildlands game combo for a shocking $75 dollars. So I bought it. I'm a singer/songwriter with 20+ years of recording behind me and play PC games and do some streaming and needed a new mic. All day I've been testing this mic (I have the black Fifine K669B for the record) and the Yeti side by side. The Yeti is larger, feels more premium, and has a mute button, gain control adjusts to louder volume, has 4 different polarity settings for doing podcasts or recording in stereo among other things. But I tested this side by side with the Yeti using the Yeti's cardioid settings to match the Fifine's. I adjusted the gain controls to be the same in windows, and slightly higher on the Fifine's gain knob to match the Yeti so they were as evenly matched as possible. I cannot distinguish a large enough difference in the audio (flat recorded in mono with audacity) to truly be able to justify the already discounted price of the Yeti compared side by side with the Fifine. Yes, the audio is just that good. I mean, as good as a USB mic is going to be. If you have the extra scratch and need more than one polarity pattern than just right in front of the mic (and the sides) then you cannot go wrong with the Fifine. I was so taken aback after hearing such good things about the yeti, but they both pickup the same background noises, and feel very similar. When positioned about 6" from the mics with pop filters in place, my voice felt more natural coming from the Fifine, with a bit more clarity perhaps in the Yeti but barely noticable. What bassiness there was (my voice isn't very bassy) was - to my ears - better on the Fifine. Not like, stupid bassy, but naturally the tone sounded more pleasing. And that's where this mic will be, about 6" from my face. It's small, light, very well made, all-metal, and about 1/4th the size of the Yeti. And the yeti weighs A TON, and has some bizarre irregular threading on the mount part where you need to buy a specific adapter or pray that you get one that the threads like. The Fifine just works. And if something happens to it you just buy another one for 25 bucks and call it a day. For professional streamers or people looking for a pro-level mic for doing voice/singing work, neither mic is going to be worth your time, you're going to want to use an interface and XLR mic/s for that, to get the sound as good as it can be. But if you're laying down tracks, writing idea songs, playing around, gaming, streaming, chatting with your friends in discord, this mic is an incredible value. I wish it had a mute button, that's a downer. But you can just turn the gain all the way down. I don't work for Fifine or Neewer, and I really want to like the Yeti, but I'll probably return it in the morning. It's a beautiful mic, but not as beautiful as having 50 bucks and something that sounds just as good. (IN CARDIOID MODE that is.) Also the Yeti is bigger, heavier, and takes up more space. I thought for sure when I started testing them that the Yeti was going to blow my mind, but insanely I can NOT tell the difference, or rather, I cannot detect why anyone would believe the Yeti is better sounding. I feel that maybe it's a reputation thing, as with the Beats headphones. Beats aren't all that good, my daughter has a pair and when I listen to them they're not bad but sound about as good as a pair of Klipsch I paid 30 bucks for on sale. Same situation here. I think Yeti's are maybe for people who either need that headphone passthrough, plan to use this for something greater than streaming or talking, and kids who just think they're good because other kids use them. TLDR: Don't be fooled, trust your ears, and just get this microphone and try it for yourself. You've got very little to lose.

Awesome microphone
These microphones are amazing and very affordable. The cheap ones had bad reviews and were on the frequently returned list. I bought 2 of these for my ps4 for singing games, we have a lot and do game nights. I plugged it in and it works amazing, it's crystal clear and the size fits right into your hand perfectly. The knob makes controlling the volume easy. It is compatible with the ps4 as well. All in all they are perfect for what i am using them for.

Compact, Easy to Use, and Good Sound — But Placement Matters
I purchased this microphone for recording and voiceovers, and overall I’ve been happy with it. One of the things I like most is how compact it is. It doesn’t take up much desk space, looks nice, and was very easy to set up — basically plug and play. The sound quality is good for the price, and my recordings sound much clearer compared to using a built-in laptop microphone. It feels sturdy and works well for basic recording, meetings, or content creation. One thing I noticed is that microphone placement matters. If I speak too close to it, I can hear extra noise in my voice when listening back to the recording. I found that keeping a little distance helps improve the sound. I can’t speak to long-term durability yet, but so far it has worked well for what I need. Overall, I think it offers good value, especially if you want a compact microphone for recording or YouTube videos.

This microphone KILLED my entire lineage...
HA, I lied. It didn't kill anything of mines, but on a serious note. I really do love this microphone, I straight up has had this thing for years, and it has not failed me ever since. I'm not entirely sure if it has the best microphone quality out of all the mics I have at home, but I have noticed that whenever I do use this microphone, my friends are always able to hear me clearly than before, so if that says something than I don't know what will! I really do appreciate how nothing of this mic feels cheap, I really do appreciate the mounting thing it comes with, how compatible it is with any operating system. (SteamOS/Steam-Deck, Windows, etc) and how simple and easy it is to use, MY FAVORITE THING ABOUT IT THOUGH, IS THE BUILT IN VOLUME SLIDER. OH MY FREAKING GOD. WHY DOESN'T EVERY MICROPHONE HAS SOMETHING LIKE THIS? DUDE ITS SO GOOOOD AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

My students and colleagues all think this sounds great
This microphone is truly no-hassle and has sufficient quality to produce clear recordings for video lectures (Kaltura) and video conferencing (Zoom). I've been using this at least weekly for the past year and it's still going strong; I've yet to run into an issue or disappointment. All I've ever done is plug it in -- no software or fiddling with settings. I have no clue what more "professional" users might be looking for, but if you just need something easy and respectable for workplace use, in my opinion this is perfect.

just what I was looking for
this mic is great, it has a clear sound, very attractive silver casing, and handy stand and long cord. It does just what I wanted it to do, use it for zoom meetings, and I've gotten good feedback from participants. It's one of those things that is exactly what I hoped it would be.

Close to 4 stars from me!
This is an excellent mic for the price, no doubt about that but it could be better! So I picked this up because I have a friend that uses one for his gaming/streaming needs and I wanted a secondary mic that wouldn't break the bank so I decided to check it out. My current primary mic is the AKG Lyra which is a lot more expensive yet sounds very similar (when only using front). Is this mic truly comparable to the Lyra or even a Blue Yeti, not really but it's close! Which enough was surprising given the price point. For example the Lyra's strength is capturing wide natural sounding audio which is why I like it. The 4 capsul array provides a lot of versatility and ultimately that's what you are paying for. The Blue Yeti on the other hand (which I've used) has a pretty unique sound signature that people (especially podcasters) love and will probably never stop using. It really emphasizes the lows in ones voice which can really produce a deep professional sounding "radio quality" voice. I do prefer a more natural sound which is why I like the Lyra but that is all about preference. This mic like the Lyra produces a fairly natural sound, I wouldn't say it's quite as detailed but the differences are subtle. Overall if I didn't want the 4 capsul array and just wanted 1 to do streams and podcasts I'd probably actually opt for the Fifine if it wasn't for 2 flaws I can't get over. First is the lack of a mute button. I actually don't like this on the Lyra either because the button feels flimsy and I don't like the feel of the click (it's plasticity and weak) but at least it has one. Second, is the simple fact that you can't disconnect the USB. This makes set up a nightmare. If you are setting up your mics on frames or a stand twisting the actual mic to speed up set up is a nightmare (and some frames you have to) because you have this cord you need to compensate for. This is not hard to do and shouldn't have added much to the overall cost of the mic when designing it (I imagine change) and I'd gladly pay an extra $5 for those 2 things. The Lyra & Yeti also allow monitoring but I would not expect that at this price point, so that's fine. Overall I still consider the Blue Yeti to be the streaming gold standard BUT if you are on a budget and what something that will capture your voice better than a cheap headset or onboard mic, this is it. I would also pair it with a good stand to get the distance between you and the mic to around a foot or a bit less, make sure gain is set accordingly (or volume as this says) and you're good. The tripod it comes with works but it's not ideal. If the had a disconnectable USB and mute button this would easily be 4 stars but if you can live without those things, like if this is going on one stand and you're binding a mute button to your keyboard, then this might be the absolute best deal for you.

Excellent mic, buy it trust me.
Mic sound very good, stand is not too bad if you have a big desk. Also the volume thing on the mic is very useful, i can basically mute my mic using the volume thing. I give it 5/5 best budget mic I have ever tried. P.S: I recommend you use voicemod with this mic and put it on voice enhancer to make it sound even better
