What are the inside dimensions?

Actually, inside dimensions are 11 7/8" x 17. 3/4" x 10 1/2" I know this because my 18" wide components don't fit.

Can you stack these on their sides

You can stack them on their sides but they do not interlock when you do. They will slide around on each other with mild bumping.

Are they good for storing records (Lp's)?

These are too narrow to use for LPs lengthwise. They have to be at least 12.25" wide to store LPs. You can store them widthwise, but that would waste a lot of space.

Can it support 100lbs?

They are designed to hold 24 quarts of liquid, roughly 54 lbs. However people sometimes use them for step stools without a problem. Be aware that the material is more likely to crack in extreme cold temperatures.
