Heirloom Traditions Paint Tool Trio (Brush, Roller and True Applicator)

Followed manufacturer directions and it turned out so professional! I am doing my front door, sofa; and kitchen cabinets. Will update as projects commence. Front door is 90% complete. I didn’t calculate the product usage in my purchase. It’s a 3 in 1 so i should have bought more for better coverage! I’m included my incomplete door so you can see how far a small bottle goes. I used Maldives for the front door. I have to order another small bottle to finish next weekend. I purchased Bone for my sofa. I was going to do the cabinets that color but it’s too light. So I’m going to use Envy for those with gold accents for those. I scratched the dooor hard to test durability. I would say u need medium experience to handle this paint. I used the brushes and sponges the company offers PLUS makeup brushes for edges because i want a professional appearance.

This set is made to give you a flawless end result on furniture or DIY projects. Just use the sturdy brush to apply the paint, getting into every nook and cranny. Then use the sponge or roller to even out the paint and give your project a professional finish. The brush is well made with bristles packed tight into the generous handle, so it holds lots of paint. And I bristles did not fall out fall out. These features were well worth the inconvenience of the time it took to clean the brush. It took some effort to get all the paint out of the brush because paint clung to where the bristles went into the handle. The sponge roller did a great job smoothing out the paint so you see no brush strokes. It did the job, but was not as well made as the brush. The handle is plastic. It would have been nice to have additional sponges to attach to the handle and just throw the old ones out. This roller will give out long before the brush does. Still, this set deserves a 5 star rating. I did not use the hand held sponge so I don't know how well it works. The brush and roller did the job perfectly.

Painting kitchen cabinets is hard enough to even think about. So just got this kit and believe me, it makes the job A LOT easier. Very good quality and helps make your hard work look professionally applied. So a bit pricy but needed. Will use again fir future projects. Also looked at videos on how to use them properly.

For what i was doing the foam puff and angled foam on a stick and roller were most useful. I rarely used the angled brush which i think is probably the most expensive part of the kit. It would be great if you could purchase the tools separately.
