Salts Gone specifically does not have anything in it that will break down or emulsify oil. This is why it's very popular in conjunction with undercoating products, safe on fishing reels, trailer bearings, does not remove wax etc. If you want to remove undercoating this is not the product for that application, but it is 100% safe to use over top of it. **Q: Is this safe on ceramic coating?** A: Absolutely!
