Very Happy With The New Lights
I have always thought our camper's factory incandescent lights were way too weak. Last year I tried some replacement bulbs from Amazon (XCSOURCE 10PCS Warm White 1156 BA15S / 1141/1073 / 1095 Base 18 SMD 5050 LED) but found them to be no improvement - in fact, a little dimmer. Still wanting more light I decided to try these. I received the lights and they were nicely packed in a bundle but well protected from damage and scuffs. Installation was easy - simply removed the old lights, clipped the wires, stripped the ends and used the included connectors to complete the wiring for the new lights. Polarity doesn't matter so just attach whichever wire is easiest. The old screw holes did not line up, plus the old screws were too large in diameter for the new fixture, so I just used the included screws making new holes. All the old holes were hidden under the new fixture so it yielded a clean installation. Time to turn them on. The first thing noticed is these are bright. Very bright! The second thing is light is definitely whiter than the old incandescent. The info said they were 4000 to 4500 K but to my eye they are probably closer to 5000 to 5500 K. Not bad but sure is a change from the yellowish 1141 bulbs (2000 to 2500 K?). So how bright is bright? Using an app on my phone to measure LUX I got these results - Old incandescent double bulb (1141) fixture with both on = 30 LUX. New fixture with ONE light array on = 98 LUX. New fixture with BOTH sides on = 203 LUX. So yes a lot more light. We find for our use having just one side of the fixture on provides a comfortable amount of light for normal use. But it is nice if I am working on something or we are loading the camper for an outing I can just flip the switch to both sides and have plenty of light to get the job done. The exception is in the bathroom. There we like the bright light and leave both sides on all the time. One other thing, as a few others have pointed out these do cast sort of unusual color pattern. I have seen this with other LED array type lights including the replacement bulbs I mentioned above. If the light is shining on a solid white or light colored surface (like a bed sheet) it makes it look like there are discolored or dingy areas. I can see how this may be distracting to some. But in our case, the lights are mounted in the living and bath area which has no solid light-colored surfaces and the color pattern is totally masked. So for us, it is a non-issue. So, overall we are pleased. Sure I wish they were a little more to the yellow side of the Kelvin scale but we can live with it. Love finally having adequate light.

Good investment
East to install. No where neer the heat or battery use as the bulb type. Way brighter also. I feel this was a great investment for my camper.

much brighter than oem
We recently replaced a few two bulb fixtures with led units. After having a few more 1156's burn out, we decided to replace the rest of the single and dual bulb lights. These are much brighter, for anyone that hasn't upgraded rv interior lights yet. Of course none of the holes matched up, but that's expected. I used butt connectors for the stranded wire rather than the supplied wire nuts, personal preference. One thing I did discover, hooking it up backwards will blow the fuse, but there's no indication of pos or neg. I found the wires with the black connector was the ground...on mine. That being said, they work, inexpensive, very bright and simple install. I'd buy again.

GREAT upgrade
I am pretty new to doing DIY stuff with my RV. I have been making repairs and trying to do some updates to my RV lately and lights were one of the things that was on my list of "TO DO". Initially I only bought 2 lights so I could test whether I actually liked the new LED's and whether it would be worth changing all of them out in my RV. Let me tell you, pictures do no justice to the difference the new LED lights made inside my RV. I did try to take a picture but it just does not look as good in pictures as it does in person. I was so pleased with the new lights that I went back and ordered enough to change out every fixture in my camper. The amount of light that is put out allows me the option now to only use some of the lights, as opposed to using several of the lights as I previously needed to do. The switch allows the option to use only 1 light on the fixture, or both lights. These lights were so easy to switch out; something I was concerned about since I have ZERO experience working with anything electrical. I did make sure to unplug my RV prior to doing any work though just to be on the safe side. I had wire cutters already and a quick trip to the store I secured an inexpensive wire stripper tool for the inside wiring. Ladies if you think you need a guy to help you do this, think again because you don't. It took me less than 5 minutes for each light. There is less heat that comes from these lights and the single light alone gives off more light than the lights that came in my RV. I am SOOOOO happy with this purchase. My RV loves them as well :D

VERY NICE LIGHTS!
VERY NICE LIGHTS! Wow what a difference they made in my 1994 RV. I had already changed the bulbs out to LED, but these were literally night and day difference. Could not recommend these highly enough. Very easy to change out. No need to worry about polarity, you can hook them up either way, no problems. But... you might want to get your own wire nuts though, the springs would not stay in most of them, but I managed with some electrical tape.

Let there be light!
Nice bright light! I recently bought an older trailer and the lighting in there was awful. These LED lights brightened it up. I like how you can adjust the lights to light on one side or both. They look good, similar to what was in there.

Fantastic upgrade Lights, Simple to install, even I could do it.
I bought these lights to replace the old cracked lenses and yellow dull lights that I had in my RV. The lights were just slightly smaller in diameter than what I had since these are rounded and the ones that I replaced were square. I love the clear lenses and not the cloudy white lenses that were on the old lights. Really lets the light shine through. Installation was a breeze two color-coded wires and four self-tapping screws. The only tool I needed was a Phillips screwdriver and I used some electrical tape on the wire nuts for little extra hold. It took me about 10 minutes to replace 7 dome lights. The only problem I had was my arms got tired from being above my head. Once I turned the lights on my word, you could tell the difference going from a yellow tint and not very bright to nice bright white light. I live in my RV so having bright lights to shave by and read by was great. The lights have been installed for seven months and have not had one issue with everyday use. They are still burning bright. Would I recommend these lights? If you are looking for bright white light then yes, if you are looking for moody cool white light then no.

So easy to change thee old lights to these lights.
We took the caravan away again & these lights are amazing. Our caravan was manufactured in 2003 so you can imagine the previous lights . Its like twilight to midday in lighting.

1995 Terry Hauler 5th Wheel
I have a 1995 Terey Hauler, great shape, all original... but this year my bulbs starting burning out. So, I decided to upgrade. What a difference. They mounted in the exact same spots, covering the old light ceiling Mark's (From Age) perfectly. Changed the whole vibe in the Camper. Great Lights, Great Price. They all worked, no duds.

VERY bright
I’m a huge fan of these lights. I’ve installed several on my outdoor sheds and as replacements to the original fixtures in my travel trailer. They work very well and are VERY bright; in fact, they’re the brightest 12volt light fixtures I’ve found. The fixtures can be turned on for one or both of the lights, which is good. The lights throw a little bit of a pattern rather than completely uniform light, which is OK with me but may make it a little more challenging if you want to read by them. However, they don’t bother me. Economical, functional and bright. A good product in my opinion. Regards, Mark
