Quick, easy and reliable.
I have read that these strip tests are not accurate enough to keep your pool water in the condition required. I have invested in a professional test kit and tried these in comparison to the test kit and the results are closer to each other than I expected. If your not willing to take the time to use a test kit this brand will get you a good result.

What's not to love
Great test strips to easily check the quality of the water in my hot tub. Quickly tells me all the information that I need to keep the water crystal clear! The color chart on the container provides a good scale and works great with the testing strips. 150 test strips is a good size and will provide me with a years worth of testing. Great value for the money!

Accurate enough to check for ok chemical balance
Fairly accurate; not as precise as store test, but close enough to know if pool chemical balance is ok between trips to the pool store. Examples: pH was measured at pool store to be 7.4; strip matched between 7.2 and 7.8, with color about mid-way between the two extremes. Alkalinity was 100 at pool store; strip matched the 80-120 region, with color about mid-way between the two extremes. Expiration date is 2.5 years from purchase (3 years from manufacture); instructions say to use strips within 150 days, but I'll have leftovers this year, so I'll see how they do next season.

Cheap easy way to check chemicals
I use these to double check my chemicals. I have a big test kit & I occasionally double check with the strips. Sometimes I just use the strips to take a little shortcut. They are pretty accurate. I would recommend

Did the comparison on bottle change colors recently?
Have the color's on the bottle gotten darker on purpose or is this a printing issue? I have been using a year and noticed the newest bottle has a significantly darker color when comparing to the dip stick test strip. this is making me wonder if I need more chemical or if it is s test strip issue as I tried a Leisure Time strip and levels were all within range.

Test strips as good as Lesley’s
The results from these strips are the same quality as the pool store I go to Lesley. It is easy to use it does as many tests as the pool store except ( dissolved solids) excellent value

CYA is NOT Accurate. Read Other Reviews.
Be careful before adjusting pool chemicals using these strips. The CYA test is not at all accurate. I used these strips to increase CYA only to find that after more precise testing using a Taylor Water Test Kit, the CYA was way over already!!! These strips are NOT accurate for CYA. Period. Now my water has very high CYA levels because these strips are bogus! Note: I usually read mid level reviews before purchasing a product. Wish I had for these strips. Others have complained about this as well. I will never use them again.
