Panavise PortaGrip Phone Holder with Windshield Mount

Very adjustable. Fits phone well. This is as heavy duty as your going to find for this sort of thing which is the main reason I bought it. They provide a disc with VHB to apply to your dash for dash mounting purposes if glass doesn't work for you. Great product. Worth every penny. Update 12/23/2020. I've driven from Detroit to Chicago and back no problems. The holder has been stuck in place for nearly a month now and has gone thru many many temperature cycles below freezing and back. Hasn't loosened up at all. Still rock solid. This is by far one of the best phone holders out there.

This is by far the best universal phone holder I have ever used. I have now bought three of them. I use one to travel with and one is permanently installed in my car. The suction cup holds when no others will. the ease of use is second to none. It fits pretty much any phone with or without a case and is very well constructed. I highly recommend this product if you want your phone in sight and not flopping around. the adjustments are finite and you can put it at any angle you want and or need.

The suction on this model seems quite good. Was trying to figure out if to go for this version or the slightly more expensive, bigger suction mount from Panavise. I'm not disappointed with this one. It doesn't look like the suction cup is fully stuck to the windshield, and I was worried about the suction power, but it hasn't budged a bit since installing it, unless I unlock it to reposition it or switch it to another vehicle. And I've been over some pretty bad terrain. I'll have to see how it holds up in the long term, but so far so good. Also, the mechanism for clipping in and removing the phone works well. The phone in its case has not accidentally fallen out of the holder once yet. And the phone is quite easy to remove when you need to by just rocking it to a side. Overall, I'm impressed and I would definitely buy a second one for the next family vehicle.

I have 4 of these and they work great! I recommend using both of the side holders with your phone (two on each side). The Panavise comes with an extra set and I just install them along with the ones already on the holder. I would also recommend you use the release button to remove your phone rather than just pulling it out of the holder. This produces little to no wear and tear on the side holders and they will last much longer.

This is absolutely a top quality product by this company; that said, some of the components on earlier versions used to be metal, and are now plastic. This obviously lessens the lifetime of the product. The performance of the holder is nonetheless amazing and IMO the best one I've ever used.

You can tell just by the feel this is made of higher grade plastic then most phone mounts. It even holds up in the intense 100 degree heat we've had lately. It does seem that sitting in the car in the sun and heat the suction cup gets a little soft It holds my Galaxy S9+ solidly. I like that it is very adjustable, especially the adjustable 'arms' that hold the phone in place. The can be moved so that they don't hit any buttons. I am even bying a second for my wife's car.

For some reason I thought this would also stick to my dashboard. But no. Just glass. So I had to figure out a place on my windshield which in my car was not as convenient as a couple places on my dash would have been. My dash was smooth non-textured plastic but not good enough to get any suction. Awkward to set the phone in and remove but once you do it a few times it became more natural. Phone stayed in position nicely and does not rattle or bounce. I have a Samsung S3.

Looked for around the web at dozens of phone mounts for my car and after reading all the reviews, this was my choice. And it was the right choice. If you're looking for a user-friendly mobile phone mount, pick this one. You can keep it vertical or turn it horizontally without too much effort and it releases your phone quickly. Once mounted, it's stuck good! It's not going to come off when you hit a bump and you don't have to worry about your phone falling out of it. I am extremely happy with this purchase!

Ideally, I would give this 3.5 stars, since there's no option for that I gave 4. I needed a stable windshield mount to use when I take my car onto the track. It's fairly stable but the biggest design flaw with this model is that the phone holster slides into a tab on the arm; it is at this connector that I noticed the greatest movement. I'm afraid that it will get lose over time, in which case the vibrations will increase (if I do notice that I'll try to remember to come back to give additional feedback). Now, I used this product on the track, for normal, day to day use, I think it should be fine. For convenience though, I use a magnetic mount instead so I don't have any feedback on day to day usage. I actually wanted to buy the next model up (15508) but while the higher model costs a little more in the USA, the cost differential between the two in Canada was rediculously high. Of course, I never got a chance to play with this model, but from pictures available on the internet, I believe this model is sturdier. If the pricing in Canada were similar to that of the USA, I definitely would've bought this one instead.
