Civil Engineering FE Exam Preparation Sample Questions and Solutions First Edition

This book was an excellent study resource for the FE Exam. The problems were very close to what was actually on the FE Exam in terms of difficulty. I was a bit worried by the other reviews that mentioned the typos in this book, but it must have been updated since then as I was not able to find any. I would recommend this book for anyone taking the Civil FE exam, especially at the price.

Interesting

Used it as a Second full practice exam (get the NCEES one as well) and duplicated the full 5hr test using this. The problems and solutions are right on point and this further built my confidence to pass the exam after failing it in the past.

This is a good little sample test. The problems are organized just like the FE and their difficulty is quite similar as well. The best part is that it's the exact same length, so you can have a mock test session to see if you can complete the exam in time. I can't give five stars though because there is the occasional inaccurate or totally incorrect solution. However, if you solve a bunch of problems like those found in the "FE Civil Practice Problems" booklet as well as complete this sample test, you're golden.

Great reference material. True to FE Exam style in complexity and depth. Definitely a good resource for the price.
