What is the copper content of this?

There is no copper in this product.

What color are the pills supposed to be? I ordered this brand before and they were yellow. These are dark brown. Is this right or is something wrong?

They’re actually closer to a dark burgundy color

Is this product safe?

It's always recommended that you talk to your healthcare provider before taking any vitamins or minerals which might interact with any prescribed medications that you're already taking orally. Personally, milk thistle at a dosage level of 450 mgs was recommended by my veterinarian to treat my older dog's elevated blood protein levels showing in his liver. He's been taking one pill a day for the last 3 months with no adverse side effects. He sees the vet again after 6 months. The rare but common side effects I was told to watch out for in the case of humans and animals was diarrhea, bloating, gas, and an upset stomach. Milk thistle can also cause allergic reactions such as skin rashes and hives. Most health professionals seem to consider the product safe and non toxic.. However, everyone's situation is different as it relates to pre existing conditions and whether such a supplement is advisable or not. That's why seeking the advice of a health care professional is always recommended.
