GREAT PRODUCT - opens everything with ease
True what some people say, it won’t fit around larger jars BUT, IT WILL OPEN THEM WITH EASE!!! What makes jars hard to open is the vacuum inside the jar, not the tightness of the lid. If you use the small hook (2 provided) to pop the edge of the lid and break the seal you can easily remove the lid with your hand. So, I give this 5 stars for working as promised and also for the other gadgets that come with it. You won’t be disappointed.

Must have for people who have a hard time opening jars and bottles
As an elderly person I have no strength in my right hand so have much trouble opening any jars and plastic bottles. Now have no trouble opening anything with the Otsar jar opener. It is very sturdy and does everything that it advertises. It has really been so helpful in my day-to-day life.

Use for one item out of the group.
For the most part I love this product. I was starting to have issues gripping and twisting off bottle caps. I don't have arthritis in my hands. Noticed that some of my Pure Leaf 16oz ice tea bottle caps wouldn't budge to twist off. Sometimes using a dry dish towel would help with screwing off cap and other times not. I thought I'd give this a try.The larger silicone bottle/lid opener is by far my favorite. I simply use the large opening to slip through and then feel for the grooves for the appropriate size lid, lineup and twist.It was that easy! Best part? I don't have to struggle as much getting the unbudgable Pure Leaf bottle cap to come off. First try came off with ease!The included silicone mat, small bottle cap twister and can opener I honestly have no use for at the moment. Stuck those in a kitchen drawer for future use if needed. As for the silicone mat? I think that's to keep bottles and jars from moving around the countertop. I have enough arm strength where I can hold it in place and twist lids and caps off. So instead of throwing that out I use that as a no slip grip coaster for my water glass on my bedroom nightstand. I wish the company had those no slip silicone mats individually for sale because I would like a couple more of those.The only major complaint that I have is that it appears I was given a used product and not new. In other words the customer before me tried using the large bottle and jar lid/cap opener and didn't like it. Because the other three items still had their plastic sealant on. I also ordered the blue and gray one and got white and cyan instead. And and I had to pay full price on the item which should not have. I was in dire need of a bottle and jar opener. This product seems to do the trick. I just wish that the company had sent me what I had purchased instead of what they had in stock.I didn't give us a five star rating because I only found use for the large bottlejar opener and no slip grip mat. Not to mention the company sent me a used product instead of new. And they didn't send me the color that I wanted.

I brought this for my mum she has said its brilliant she can open a bottle of bleach which is the first time in over a year also small jars like the mint sauce she can now also open she has really bad arthritis for over 15 years and has struggled with opening things for some time. So far the tool has done the job
