Be patient, it works great
As long as you follow the instructions as to how to apply , this weed n feed is really great controlling all kinds of weed in your lawn . One thing you need to understand is itโs not an overnight thing , it takes a few weeks for it to do the job so have faith it does work just takes time .. super easy to apply with a Scottโs spreader the only down part is it smells up your shop if you leave the bag open so put a zip time on the leftovers so it keeps the smell in the bag . Great stuff , I use it a lot and it always works great ..

Be PATIENT!
This product works as advertised. I moved to a property in northern Wisconsin with a yard heavily infested with white clover. My front yard was 2500 square feet, my back yard is closer to 7500. I did half a bag on front yard. Really no result. They came right back after a subsequent cut. Did a second treatment with other half several days after cut. Again they returned. About a week later I did a full bag on the front (to treat 5000sqft). After a few days I cut the grass and a week later the clover is back in the untreated back yard, and has not reappeared in the front yard. Heavy infestation may require a more aggressive treatment ***

Doess NOT work on Clover. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY !
I am utterly disappointed in this Scotts Weed Control for Dandelions and Clover. I usually only trust Scotts Brand products for my lawn care needs. I have solely believed in their products for many years and am always willing to spend the extra amount of money to receive a premium brand product.. But this year, I got an infestation of small sized clover in my Bermuda lawn which I try to keep in really good shape in Southern California where temps are warm regularly.. I tried various safe-for-grass type liquid weed control spot treatments and nothing seemed to work in killing the small sized clover infestation. I also tried Scotts Turf Builder Triple Action1 - Combination Weed Control, Weed Preventer, and Fertilizer and it too, did not kill this clover in my Bermuda lawn. NOTHING ! I then resorted to this Scotts Weed Control for Lawns, Weed Killer, Kills Over 200 Weed Types Including Dandelion and Clover. At first, I spread it over the entire damp, wet lawn with a broadcast spreader and watched it for a few weeks to see if it would kill the clover. NOTHING happened to the clover. So I bought a second bag of this Scotts product as it says on the package that it KILLS CLOVER and I spot treated each and every clover infested area (patches) with it again. I waited a few weeks to see if it was effective and it slightly killed some of the clover, but by the next mowing, the clover came back. I applied a 3rd treatment of this Scotts Weed Control for Lawns, Weed Killer for Dandelion and Clover. This 3rd treatment again, was a targeted spot treatment for each and every area of the clover infestation (small patches)..... NOTHING. No Results ! So here I am out of a bunch of money for stupidly buying 2 large bags of this product because I believed in Scotts Products for years. I can't tell you how frustrated I am and now, I have no idea now, how to get rid of this clover infestation without feeling that anything I buy, will be a total waste of money. You have been warned ! This does NOT work on small sized clover. I followed the Scotts Instructions EXACTLY. I am COMPLETELY disappointed in Scotts Products now and I wonder if the environmentalists have made Scotts, re-formulate their products to the point of ineffectiveness. I am going to try other brands now and give up on Scotts after this very trying and disappointing experience with their product.

Scotts Weed Control for Lawns (Northern), 14 lb
I thought I'd try this after using the spectricide stuff that looks like saw dust. So, all I care about is effect, duration and even spreading. It spread well as hard, 2mm bits and could see it nicely. And, I spread it same time I spread the other - wet the patch first, then immediately spread it - so, same conditions - fully, warm sunny day and next day a light rain. Well - this in no way is an immediate kill weed management chemical. Zero on that. I has a look of "Preen" or an "anti-germination" chemical I'll put down on occasion. There's allot to read on all of these and no "Summary" of, etc. on any of them - that would help - but how it is. I feel fortunate it even lists it's Ingredients without having to look up the MSDS - so there must have been some pressure there to clearly label it. So, this list ingredients I am familiar with and think it works more in the ground - but so does the other over the summer with suppression. One other thing that I like about this was that on this Zero-wind Day - there was no "ploom" of fine dust like the other. Though I wear a dust mask, can usually smell it anyway (if you can smell it - it got in is my thinking). I like a slight breeze but not wind etc. to avoid that. So, that was another benefit. So, it comes down to cost and Purpose in that treatment. For me - I was trying to kill a fresh, large crop of Dandelions prior to going to seed if could and this did not do it, at all. So, that eliminates it one more Star for *usefulness when I need it to work. With the other - half a day and saw action and next day shrinking, no flower, some, or more seed pods - but did what I wanted to accomplish that day. So, I like the bigger bag by 1/3, and would have to compare the price per lb/oz? - but they have two different purposes and would be redundant to the other. The only other way it could prove useful is by end of this season see better "tough weed" suppression. Again, I am familiar with this one's different chemical makeup. I hope that helps. So, maybe put down one, then the other - timed out a bit and that could be a good combination, if the other isn't "that" - already. I have stressed a lawn, field but doing this to late, heat, not rain come July/August - so, don't do it then - you'll just have lots of brown and maybe non-recovering patches as I did.

It works!
Lots of weeds in the lawn. Patches of dandelions. Thought Id give this a try. The weeds faded by. 60% first application! Gave stubborn patches another sprinkle. It looks like it does what it says! Did not expect miracles. But dang, it works!
