It's proven useful in many different setups. It's always in my camera bag.
Upgraded my original rating to 5/5 because it's proven so useful. It goes on an iPhone video rig, and an iPhone DSLR style camera grip. Also used it a couple of times with GoPros. It's a solidly made piece that stays where you put it and it does the job, without being fiddly or taking up unnecessary space. Nice.

Wicked mount for my Elgato KeyLight mini on my Camera
This works very well.My only gripe is that it's a bit stiff to tilt up and down depending on the weight of the light on top.very easy to mount and install on top of your existing camera Cold shoe.

Not the usual smallrig quality
Have been a big fan of all things smallrig, bought this to attach a gopro to my camera, I like the look and how compact it is, but the allen key bolts that tighten the tilting mechanism are impossible to adjust, when I try to turn them it just completely shreds the hex socket, not even with a lot of force, the metal is so incredible soft that the lightest amount of pressure trying to turn it shreds the hex and makes it unusable, both ends after 2 minutes of trying to loosen it are now perfectly smooth circles.Fortunately once you attach the mount and gopro you have enough leverage to just force it to move and it seems to stay put, since I'm not planning on having to adjust the rotation more than once I'll probably just keep it and fingers crossed it stays tight since I will never be able to tighten it if it loosens since the hex has been demolished.
