SketchUp to LayOut

I'm 71 and found learning AutoDesk REVIT was harder than learning SketchUp. It didn't take long for me to learn how to design a 3D model of my garage and house and I'm ready to learn how to move the model into LayOut in order to make some official drawings! I've been using it to remodel my kitchen and show my wife how it will look. My wife is excited for us to begin construction.

I've been searching for awhile for a good intro to how to use Layout. I had just found the previous version of this book when the 2nd edition hit the shelves...I'm glad I waited.

This is an excellent introduction to SketchUp pro. Clear and easy to follow instructions for the beginner, new to SketchUp.

It shows how to use each tool and some tips on how to organize your work.A practical example of modelling a small project taking it through the whole process would have been more useful. The same information can be found browsing the web for free not really worth spending the money. It is basically a manual for sketchup.

Great info throughout, but the quality of the paper and cover is really poor, especially for the price.
