DEVAISE 3 Drawer Wood Mobile File Cabinet, Rolling Office Cabinet for Letter/A4 Size, Rustic Brown

This file cabinet checks all the boxes for excellence. It looks great, obviously, but it is of superb quality. I've assembled many furniture items over the years, and this one was absolutely perfect. The instruction manual was detailed, sequential, and clear. All parts and pieces were identified and referenced by that identifier in the manual. The hardware was in separate, individual sleeves. The hardware and holes all lined up perfectly...100%! That is extremely rare. There were zero parts and pieces missing, they included one or two extra screws, fasteners, etc. in each sleeve, another rarity. They even included a screwdriver. I give this piece of furniture my highest rating and recommendation.

Surprisingly roomy . Love the farmhouse look. Very sturdy, and should last a while. the dark brown woodgrain look goes perfect in my house. the set I bought doesn't have a locking mechanism.

A perfect solution to my needs. I put it next to my computer to hold my big screen reader. The drawaers hold writing needs and paper as well as files. It was easy to assemble, clear instructions, and seems fairly durable, although it probably won't take a lot of abuse.

Sooo. When I opened the box I was in assemble mode… I however was not in the modification mode.. and once I figured out there was a problem… what I’m gonna disassemble it put it back in the box and send it back… yea good luck with getting it back in the box…(Tetris/jigsaw puzzle anyone?) I am meticulous in assembling stuff like this. After looking checking, looking and checking some more… come to find out four of the holes got drilled in the wrong place.. one of the drawers would not close all the way. The track that the draw was to role on… “bottomed out” before the drawer could close.. So I got a drill with the appropriate drill bit and marked for new holes. Forcing the screws in without drilling first is not recommended with this type of “wood”(particle board). Once I drilled and finished assembly everything it was great. Drawers roll nice. I love the cabinet. I am using it as a file cabinet but also as a night stand. My bed is a little on the tall side so I needed something a little taller than a normal nightstand. This fit the bill perfectly.

I guess I got what I paid for. The piece looks nice, but I'd definitely say it is not solid construction. Bit of a play with words implying solid wood. It's veneer over particle board. Regardless, it was easy enough to assemble; just following the instructions. The extra wheel on the front of the bottom drawer does help prevent tip over and damage to the slider rails.
