Wire the AC only first
It comes configured for lead acid battery, and the entire unit will remain unpowered if you hook up LiFePO batteries + the AC.. So, wire the AC only at first, then configure the battery settings. Then you can connect the battery.Using this on a boat, Marina lost power in a storm and I didn't even notice. Switches between power sources in milliseconds so there's no flicker or anything.
