Buy these wicks! Don't use the cheap ones that come in the kits. The wicks help with a great hot throw and melt pool.

After trial and error and much googling i was able to find the best recipe and supplies. Two of these in a 3 inch are burning and melting very well. Will likely repurchase with separate bases to use the lengths I cut for future single wick motives. This whole candle journey began with wax from other candles and zero kits.

These wicks have been burning very consistently for me, partnered with American Soy Organics wax. Very even burning, little to no oversized burnt ends. They hold up nicely in the melted was as the candle burns down.

I used these with my candle making set. They make my candles look professional. Burn well also but I usually use a candle warmer.
