Where is this hammer made? U.S. or China?

I just purchased and it plainly says Made in China unfortunately. I thought it was USA too guys..

Can you hit steel with this? have been told i can’t. like can i hit my steel nail bar or do i have to order one of the titanium ones aswell? thanks

Plenty of warnings now a days on handles ,first purchased 98ish . Just did a free return after i hit hammer to metal ,another hammer , it sparked and shot titanium shrapnel back at me burned thru my mask into my lip . Great company Milwaukee owns them now. But yea I hit a lot of things with that hammer in the last 20 years . Best suggestion safety glasses .
