The Female Inlet Pipe (FIP) connects to the male Inlet pipe, (3/4 inch water pipe). **Q: Is it compatible with galvanized pipe?** A: I have it on PVC. It is not a fine thread so I don't see why it wouldn't thread on galvanized.
