Great Value screen replacement!
I think this is some sort of in-between product. It says NOT LCD and I think that's correct, but it sits a tiny bit higher than the original OLED screen although the phone still fits into the same case it was in before. The instructions were pretty good considering the price/product, but definitely do your homework at ifixit.com before you attempt. The earpiece and FaceID bracket that has to be removed from the old screen was a bit finicky and without my heat gun I think I would have ripped the ribbon cable that kept it attached. But I set my heat gun at 100 Celsius and warmed the adhesive up and the bracket came out nice and then installed into the new screen. I also had access to a cheap iCopy Plus that I bought on eBay and was able to read the TrueTone data from the old screen and write it to the new screen. The iPhone seems to have TrueTone enabled, so I think that was a success. The adhesive that comes with the product seemed to want to stick to the anti-stick backing more than to the phone bezel, but I got that taken care of. Also forgot to mention that they include this kind of screw diagram thing that is mildly adhesive and that was a VERY nice addition for keeping track of the tiny screws. I'm giving this product 5 stars because for what it is, the included tools were good, the product works, and the instructions were good enough.

Impressive replacement Screen for iPhone X
I purchased iPhone 6 screens that gave the screen an overexposed washed out appearance. This screen replacement looks just like my old phone. The image is crisp and my son compared our phones and was also impressed. The touch screen works fine too. The screen protector is a throw away, but that isn’t why I bought this kit. The standard cheap tools were acceptable but I had a nicer screwdriver in a prior kit that worked better. Five stars for this one. Thanks.

🤥 SCAM!!! Sent LCD screen not advertised OLED!! 🤥
EVERYONE, please be ‼️AWARE‼️ that this SIMDOG claimed iPhone X OLED screen in fact is a cheap LCD version. I failed to read all the reviews properly prior to my order... 😅 So when I was starting to replace the from SIMDOG sent screen I thought it was kinda weird that the back is BLUE and not BLACK as my original broken one. As I trusted this entire scheme, I went ahead and followed all the given replacement steps. My next puzzled moment came when I pressed the new screen into its lower mechanical frame. The screen edges were higher than usual and my phone felt clunky. Then I picked it up and I thought: "Ohhh, this is heavy!!!" 🤔Then I turned on the screen without its protecting film and my screen pic looked all dull and dark. 😳 Pretty much I became suspicious! I went online to do my research again as of the LCD & OLED screen differences and that is when I clearly saw that LCD screens are "BLUE" on its inside and they are also bigger on the side. OLED screens are lighter, sleeker and "BLACK" on the inside frame. 🤥 SO: Meanwhile I went ahead and ordered an *OEM Original iPhone X screen on Ebay. I did receive and install it last night and I must tell you: Daw and night!! Now I am feeling that MY phone is back! 🤩 This LCD one produced such unsatisfying overall results that I kinda lost my joy on my 7 year old companion. 😅 *OEM = Original screen that came on the phone when it was new. Here is the deal: 👉🏻This LCD option is good for anyone who simply wants a cheep solution. It will come with lower color resolution. It will drain your battery faster. I had trouble activating the 🔦 & 📸 from the home screen. Also the touch screen function was finicky. Sometimes it was working just fine. Sometimes I could hit and touch and touch and hit the black screen all over again and it stayed asleep... 🙄 the respond time in general seemed also slower... What I did like though is that they are sending you great tools and a fantastic Screw Mat!! Nice boxing as well. For these two criteria I am giving a 5 ⭐️ rating!! ☺️ 👉🏻If you want your replacement screen to work as flawless as possible, then I urge you to spend another $30.00 on an established *OEM Original iPhone X screen seller on Ebay and you shall be happy!! And your battery & wallet as well.... because that will be your next expense on your 📝... 😉 Hope this helps! Happy replacing everyone! Cheers ✨🙋🏻♀️✨

Worked for my phone trade but not for the faint of heart
I had an iPhone X and have been patiently waiting for the iPhone 15 release when I accidentally dropped my phone and cracked the screen! This was my first time ever busting my phone screen and I was worried about receiving any trade in credit for the new phone so I ordered this replacement screen hoping it would suffice. I was impressed with the magnetic pad and all the tools necessary to replace the screen. It even came with 2 screen protectors to replace the new screen. Following the directions as well as watching a few YouTube videos I successfully replaced the screen and it worked good enough or my trade. Things to note though is that you will need to program the new screen or else you will lose the ability of TrueTone. I didnt know this but for some that may be important and you probably should just go local for screen replacement if that is important to you as buying the device to program it yourself would cost more. I would also say that replacing your screen is not easy and requires some delicate touches as you can easily tear one of the connectors. If all of this still sounds good to you then proceed on with ordering this screen kit as it worked great.

Works well but don't think it's oled
The screen works well, is bright and vibrant and still has the true tone option but I noticed that when the screen is black if you push hard on it it distorts like an LCD screen would. And it's pretty thick. Idk but it still works.

[UPDATE] False Advertising
UPDATE: I brought my concerns to the seller’s customer service and they were able to process a refund for me quickly, so updating my rating here to reflect this good service. However, the item description really does need to be updated still. ———————————————— I knew I was taking a chance with such a cheap display, and to be fair the display does work decently. However, there is some pretty blatant false advertising going on here. First of all, I’m not really convinced this is an OLED screen. When brightness is turned down, contrast is almost non-existent, blacks look like light-grey, and everything looks washed-out. When brightness is all the way up, it actually doesn’t look too bad. Second, 3D Touch does NOT work with this display, despite the item description explicitly saying it does. Third, True Tone does NOT work, despite the item description explicitly saying it does. (Granted I had a strong feeling this one wouldn’t work, as only genuine Apple displays have True Tone) Overall, the screen does work and is a cheap replacement that will get the job done. However, the description really needs to be updated to be honest about what this screen actually provides.

Best replacement screen I've found so far on Amazon
I bought this screen after my "fixerman" screen which goes for $80 on Amazon failed, I gave the screen a small bump with a door frame, I didn't even drop the phone and a blueish hue started forming at the top of the screen and within 2 hours it overtook the entirety of the screen. I took this replacement screen to the same guy that installed that other one and he said this screen was a much better quality and after picking the phone up from his shop I could tell. The colors are not washed at all like on that other screen, colors look like the original screen to me, everything feels smother from scrolling down to swiping and watching youtube videos. I bought this screen when it had zero reviews and I thought it was a risky move but it paid off.
