U.S.A. Made - PEX GUY Aluminum 2 ft Omega-Channel (Snap On) Heat Transfer Plates for 1/2" PEX - Radiant Heating (100pc/box)

Great price and worked like it is supposed to. I attached mine to the sub floor using 1/2" sheet metal screws and that worked really well. As I started to run low on screws I got out my Arrow T50 staple gun and used 1/2" staples and they worked really well and a lot faster. If you don't hold it tight you have to use a hammer to tap them in but still faster.

These Heat Transfer Plates work great in installing a sandwich style radiant floor heating system. I spaced my sleepers 3/4" apart and nailed the plates down between. The 1/2" pex tubing snapped in nicely to the plates which held the tubing firmly in place. I know that other types of plates had reviews saying the pex was proud of the surface when installed, but with these plates the pex is just a hair recessed from the top of the plate, perfect for flooring over.

Easy to clip on pipe and install. I use a cordless electric stapler with HD staples and they install easily.Follow the proper installation process and have a great end product.There are cheaper products out there but these are the best I have found.

Good price, good value. Reliable source with fast shipping. Note: the style purchased here are an open "u-shape" and do not pinch the pex tubing, so they have to be held in place while fastening. These allow the pex to slide easier on expansion and contraction, but I'm not sure how differently than the "c-shape" that clips on. Just wanted to mention this in case you are an installer that prefers one style over the other.

Lots of competitors advertised and a range of prices. Was worried that this economical product would have edges that would have burrs that could cause problems where pex "enters" and "exits" plate; however, all the plates had very nice edge finish and I have zero worry of long-term abrasion on pex. Material thickness was not measured; but, it was perfect for attaching under a wood floor with basic 5/8" staples. Very nice product...will buy again.

Good fit. Pex stays put. We are building a house, and putting this over the subfloor as pictured, then topping with hardibacker cement boards, then flooring (tile or engineered hardwood).I like that is is made in America.

These went right up and had excellent heat transfer - they are a bit heavier metal so a standard staple gun will not work - not rugged enough to go through the metal into the plywood.

So far, this is doing an excellent job moving the heat from the pex tubes to the subfloor. Definitely worth adding to the heating system.The packing for shipping on theses were one of the best I've seen in a long while. We live in a remote area and they travelled in the mail for a good distance and not one was damaged. The company did not do an excessive job packaging, but with a little effort and common sense, they protected the product. Thanks for that!
