Earl Nightengale’s THE STRANGEST SECRET is one of my favorite pieces of literature The reason is threefold. First, it is a quick and easy read. Second, although the principles shared in it are unconventional to the majority of society, this book’s ideas are super practical. Lastly, I say that the words on the pages are revolutionary and applied properly, will transform anyone’s life, just as it has done for me.

A true classsic must read for all entrepreneurs.

I've won a lot of sales awards over the past 24 years. I can attribute a LOT of that success to the contents in this book. I used to have this on cassette tape and book form. Along with so many other great speakers and motivators from the early and mid 20th century....it shaped me to believe I could achieve anything I set my mind to. AND that inaction toward my goal was itself an action. It's not for those how want a hand out - it's for those who want to WORK and ACHIEVE. It's a 30 minute read in this format - but I bet I used 2 colored pens and multiple color hilighters - it's so full of great stuff.

I got this cause i am a fan of Bob Proctor and he highly recommends this book. It definitely has great insight, quite intelectual but ultimately the author's beliefs is partial to the Developped World's entitled mentality. It will lead those who have access to resources and infrastructure of countries like the USA to succeed, in spite of straineous adversities. No doubt. But if you look at the realities of Underdevelopped Countries, the odds are a lot higher and stricter then social circumstances. Still a few will rise like a single needle in a haystack. The comparison to the developped world will be more like a cow breaking out of the pasture. My point is great wisdom isnt absolute wisdom for this author or anyone who share this thinking. And I do share it from living in the USA not based on the realities of my birth country, Haiti. It is all perspective.

I have read this book at least 10 times and I read it again today (8th Jan 2017) this book is filled with nuggets here and there that totally hits it home. The very first paragraph is what I quote every single time I get an opportunity. Here is the excerpt: The late Nobel prize-winning Dr. Albert Schweitzer was once asked, "Doctor, what is wrong with men today?" The great doctor was silent a moment, and then he said, "Men simply do not think. This is SO TRUE. Look around you and you will not find many people that actually THINK. 5% of the people think, ten percent of the people think they think, and the other 85% would rather watch what Kim Kardashian's are doing than think. Another great line that I always quote from this book is... The problem is that our mind comes as a standard equipment at birth. It's free. And things that are given to us for nothing, we place little value on. Things that we pay money for, we value. I will end this review by saying, your mind is your best friend and only friend that will come to your aide in need, so you better take good care of it. And it starts with thinking. Give yourself 5-10mins a day to think and ponder about your life and goals.

Okay folks! This book isn’t a read and put away. If you have motivation to change the trajectory of your life but looking for the final push to make a change you need this! The only better book on mindset is psycho-cybernetics. (Order that with this book) Highly recommend it. It’s only 40 some pages but read it. Enjoy the change that it brings!

Yes, this is the beta version of "The Secret." But they are NOT the same. Earl Nightingale talks a lot about the secret in the sense of having your subconscious help you (your mind will focus on what you feed it, good or bad). Stay focused on what you REALLY want in life and your brain (the conscious you and your subconscious) will help you figure it out. (And the science is showing that you can prime your subconscious to help you figure out problems.) "The Secret" on the other hand talks about some crap about universal vibrations...basically sit on your butt, think about what you want, and let the Universe do the work for you. Sorry, but life doesn't work like that. Nightingale also brings up some great points. Like keeping a notecard with you that says what your goal in life is so you stay focused on it. He also talks about the market rewarding people (with money) who bring value to it. And if you aren't making money then you aren't working hard enough or aren't doing anything of value to the market (so you can see this is very different from the book "The Secret")

It will apply to people that is passing difficult times, following these no new wisdom knowledge will manifest in their lives with outstanding results

Man benötigt nur etwa eine Viertelstunde, um in das Geheimnis eingeweiht zu werden.
