A lightsaber in a dinosaur embryo canister that puts manual labor to shame.
I have been using this HOTO electric screwdriver religiously for the last ten months. I fully intended to go back to my old, manual screwdrivers at some point - mostly out of habit - but that would be like ditching a modern smartphone to go back to a carrier pigeon. After nearly a year of consistent, daily abuse, I am thrilled to report that there is absolutely no wear and tear whatsoever. It is still going strong, which is more than I can say for my own knees. First, let’s talk about the aesthetic. It looks exactly like a lightsaber, and it makes me feel like a Jedi. It even arrives in a circular storage contraption that looks suspiciously like the stolen dinosaur embryo canister from the whipped cream can in Jurassic Park. I half expect to open the lid and find the DNA of a T-Rex instead of metal bits. The magnetic heads are a stroke of genius, making the whole process of swapping bits laughably easy. You don't have to fiddle about with tiny, greasy parts; you just snap them into place. The size is perfection; it fits into the palm of your hand as if it were designed by an ergonomically obsessed sculptor, and it has just enough weight to feel like a serious tool rather than a toy. But the real, soul-cleansing glory occurs when you are assembling a 3D printer. We have all been there, wrestling with those metal arms like you are trying to pin down a butch, robotic octopus. You usually need a seventh hand to hold the Allen key, you can only turn it a millimeter at a time, and then you realize you’ve done it the wrong way round and the struggle begins all over again. This screwdriver turns a 20-minute, life-shortening disaster into a 2-minute, peaceful experience. It is also absurdly good value for money. When you consider that you are essentially purchasing a piece of high-tech wizardry that holds its charge for an eternity - I have charged this thing exactly once in ten months - the cost is borderline philanthropic. I reckon if Qui-Gon Jinn had cracked this out to cut through the blast doors in the first Star Wars film, he would have been through and finished the job before the droid army even realized what was happening. It is officially my go-to tool. It is the lightsaber I never knew I needed to fight the tyranny of flat-pack furniture, all while safely encased in a vessel that makes me feel like I’m smuggling stolen prehistoric assets off Isla Nublar. If you are still using a manual screwdriver, you are essentially trying to fight a Rancor with a butter knife. Stop it, and buy this.

A quality device that works well, I am happy to recommend it.
What a stunning piece of kit! I ordered it yesterday and it was delivered on the same day. All retail packaging was intact and the product was brand new. Ok, first impressions: Design wise this is beautiful, unlike anything else on the market. This looks like an apple product 100%. The case and driver are very well made and feel good in the hand, the weight is not heavy but it feels reassuringly solid. The driver bits in the case cap are a great way to have everything in one place so there's no need to scrabble around trying to find them. The LED light is nice and provides good illumination, enough to do the job. The forward and reverse buttons are conveniently located so that a good grip can be maintained along with control. The hex bits look to be of reasonable quality, I would say for everyday tasks they are good enough with a decent variety of types of bit. There is only 1 flat head bit but to be honest it does not bother me, most of the screws I would use this for would be Phillips head screws anyway. When I received it I was eager to test it, design aside this needed to perform otherwise it would just be a pretty item to look at! To test it I grabbed some Phillips head screws and found a chunk of wood. I then set the torque to position 1 and tried the device... The screw was 3 inches long and was easily driven in until about a third of the way before stopping. The torque of the device made it want to turn in my hand but once I had adjusted to provide extra grip it was Ok. Once maximum torque was reached I set the torque to position 2, it was then easily driven all the way in without any problem. For me this is good enough for almost any job in the house or most jobs on my car that require a screwdriver. The forward/reverse buttons are conveniently located so that you keep good control of the device. Suggestions for improvement would be to contour the shape to make gripping it easier and also I would have added variable speed control rather than the 1 single speed this has, this would prevent over tightening. A workaround for me was to get the screw almost all the way in and then I was able to turn the screwdriver manually for the last nip up. This is a keeper for me, design and functionality are exactly what I wanted, I recommend buying this.

A great screwdriver for everyone
I got this for my dad who builds remote control Helicopters, he had been using a big noisy battery hand drill which was driving my mother insane. This screwdriver is very quiet and powerful, it’s easy to use and has the 3 torque setting for various needs. The storage is all built into the case and the magnetic heads mean no more lost screws. It’s light and easy to use for extending periods of time.

Sleek and powerful, but I wish the bit kit was bigger
I honestly absolutely love this little thing. It doesn’t even look like a traditional tool—the design is super minimal and the matte finish feels premium in the hand, not like cheap plastic. I picked this up mainly for light household tasks, and it has been a lifesaver for assembling a flat-pack desk and tightening up loose cabinet hinges in the kitchen. The torque is surprisingly punchy for a battery-powered screwdriver, and the USB-C charging is a huge plus since I can just use my phone cable to juice it up. That said, I do have one wish: I really would have liked more bit options included in the box. The provided bits cover the basics (standard Phillips and Hex), but I ran into a situation with a smaller Torx screw on a toy where I didn't have the right size and had to go dig out my old manual set. The case is beautiful, but it’s limited to just those specific slots. If HOTO offered a version with a wider variety of sizes or a secondary bit holder, this would be literally perfect. Still, for 95% of jobs, it’s my new go-to.

A thing of beauty - almost too nice to use for screwing things into other things
To be honest I've more things to screw screws into things than I can shake a stick at, but there's always room for one more when they are as cool as this. I've several dewalt drill/drivers and a couple of Wera ratchet manual screwdrivers but, until today, didn't have a dedicated electric screwdriver. When the packaging arrived I was immediately concerned about how heavy this thing was. The box had some serious heft to it. I was relieved to find, however, that a lot of the weight is in the cylindrical case the driver comes in. I hadn't really paid too much attention to this in the reviews that I'd watched on YT , but it does add a lot of weight and bulk to the package - think small premium water bottle size. Having said that, it is beautifully made from what feels like eally high quality aluminium. The case houses the bit holder and keeps the drill securely held and protected when not in use. It's completely overkill as a tool holder, but really gives a premium feel to the package. Way too nice to chuck into a tool box. The driver itself is, again, beautifully made. Looks a bit bulky but is very well balanced in the hand. Powerful but controllable. I've used it on a couple of little jobs this afternoon and it's worked flawlessly. The selection of bits that come with it is good but a little limited. You could obviously swap these out with a selection of your choice. All in all it's a premium feeling tool which I'm sure any DIY'er would be pleased to own. I think it will be living in the house rather than being left out in the garage. It's just too pretty to leave out there! I paid just £29 in the Black Friday sale and have to say that at that price it feels like incredible value for what you get.

Excellent quality. Powerful, not too fast to wreck the screw head or material to screw in
Excellent quality. Powerful, not too fast to wreck the screw head or material to screw in. I am a tradesman. Before owning this screwdriver, I used a combi drill. But that is big and won't fit in my toolbox. Had to go back to my van to get the drill when I only had to drive some screws in. This screwdriver fits in my toolbox and does the same job. It is powerful. Drives screws into wood with no problem. It's not too fast to wreck the screw head. Battery seams to last. It has 3 torque settings and you can tell the difference. Most important it has the facility to turn it off and it's not a button that can accidentally be pressed while squeezed with other tools in the toolbox and then make it to run and drain the battery like another electric screwdriver that I had before this. And it comes with various range of screw bits which are nicely fit in a rubber seating in the screwdriver casing so you can easily pull them out. It also has a LED circular light around the screw drive which lights the area you screw. Very useful in dark places. Will see how long it lasts. I have used it for a couple of weeks now and then, at least once a day. So far I can't fault it. Before, I had a cheap one which was faster. But sometimes it was slipping over the screw head and when the screw was half way into the wood, it didn't have the power to drive it in further. This one, if the wood is a bit hard, it slows down but it drives it all the way.

Great screwdriver
Ease of use, the screws seem to stick to it as it’s magnetic it’s in a lovely case & I like the way the screw parts are enclosed in the bottom of the case. It also has a reverse button on it & also a light so you can see what you’re doing in dark areas. It’s just a really good all rounder, which is why I have given it a five star review, really glad I bought it, plus it came charged up.

Excellent
A very good example of thoughtful industrial design, ergonomically excellent and delightfully easy to use. Ideal rotational speed for most applications and three well-judged torque settings, the lowest ideal for small (e.g. 4BA, M2) fasteners. Comes with a good variety of bits. Adequate power for most domestic applications and remarkably good value for money. All in all, one of the best things I've bought from Amazon.

Great Tool for Everyday Use!
I’m really impressed with the HOTO Electric Screwdriver Set. It’s compact, powerful, and super easy to use. The 3 torque settings make it versatile — gentle enough for small electronics but strong enough for furniture assembly. The USB-C charging is a big plus, charges fast and lasts a long time on a single charge. The build quality feels premium, and the magnetic bits are very handy. Honestly, it’s one of those tools you don’t realize how much you need until you have it. A perfect balance of design, power, and convenience. Highly recommend!
