I can't say enough good things about this Rev-A-Shelf pullout trash system. Every component—from the metal frame to the soft-close slides—feels solid and high-end. The finish is sleek, and the bins are generously sized without being bulky. Installation was a breeze thanks to the included template. It was spot-on accurate, which made aligning everything incredibly straightforward. I had it up and running in under an hour, and it looks like a professional install. This replaced an old, rickety trash bin setup that constantly jammed and felt like a temporary fix. Now, the bins glide out smoothly, tuck away neatly, and the soft-close feature adds a touch of luxury I didn’t know I needed. If you're on the fence—don’t be. I only wish I had made the switch years ago. It’s one of those upgrades that instantly improves your kitchen’s functionality and feel.

Very sturdy and easy to install.

This is very well made, sturdy, looks nice and functions excellent. Definitely gives the kitchen an extra "high end" finishing touch to have the soft close trash drawer. I'm taking 1 star off for the difficulty in installation and less-than-superb assembly instructions. There are 2 main issues I ran into. 1st, the brackets that mount to the cabinet door themselves were too wide for my cabinet. My cabinet doors are exactly 16 inches across. I saw in the dimensions that the width of the product was only 15 inches, so I thought i was in the clear.... nope, the brackets on the door stick out to at least 16.5 inches. The instructions give plenty of information on how to adjust the bracket if the cabinet doors are TOO WIDE, but not if they are too NARROW. I thought I was going to have to return the product. The instructions state to mount the cabinet door brackets on the outside of the frame of the trash bins. There isn't a way to just mount the brackets on the inside as the brackets get stuck on other components of the trash bin holder. I was able to get a solution to work by using multiple of the provided spacers, but on the inside of the mount instead of the outside (picture attached). This allowed me to mount the bracket on my 16 in cabinet door without any bracket showing too wide. The 2nd thing that is tricky is where to mount the trash bin slides on the floor of the cabinet. They included a nice thin cardboard cutout template to mark all the holes perfect. The problem is, the template needs to be brought forward closer to the cabinet door if the cabinets are inset. This was mentioned in the instructions, but it was mentioned later in the instructions and not very well described. I attached 2 pictures of the correct and incorrect installation: the picture with my hand pulling the trash bin brackets forward to be flush with the absolute edge of the cabinet is the correct installation. The cabinet door brackets should not be deeper than the cabinet opening. It needs to be FLUSH.

Read the reviews and follow instructions and you should be good to go. Not the best instructions I've seen, but also not the worst. Maybe read through them all the way first and then start. I just did the step by step like it was ikea furniture but towards the end there are multiple options depending on what your cabinet requirements are. Our cabinets measure at the EXACT 15 inch width due to the frame so I was worried that would be a problem. It was not, because I read reviews and turned the brackets around so they face inward. There are extra plastic pieces included in the set to make the brackets sit just right depending on the width you need to screw the brackets into the door properly. This project was a little hard on the back but for an accountant who enjoys putting together ikea furniture and has replaced a window spring, and knows little to nothing else about home improvement, it was surprisingly easy. Now we have way more space in the kitchen, and this is one of the best Amazon purchases I've made. I was concerned about an outlet we have on the same wall as the cabinet which took up interior space, but it only encroached on the trash cans enough to hardly nudge them. There was an additional recommended product as well on Amazon for a foot pull to add to the bottom of the door which was about $7. SUPER easy to install that also and I've already used it many times. This product is sturdy and totally worth it! Highly recommend! The soft close is also a nice touch.

Great product! Our old set was super old. So we replaced it with these. The unit seems very stable and the way it holds onto the cabinet panel seems sturdier than our old one. The cans hold bags super well and we are very pleased with the soft close feature! Would recommend this product!

We have a trash drawer that broke and I needed to find a whole new system. This system was easy to put together for someone who thinks they’re handy, but not. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who needs a trash drawer.

I couldn't be happier with this product. Easy install when I used a YouTube video for the Rev A Shelf 53wc series. Works in my framless cabinet seamlessly. Make sure you MEASURE your cabinet opening to ensure this will fit. As long as you follow the instructions and "measure twice, drill once" you should be fine. I'll be buying the lids from a local shop in my city (much cheaper).

Works well… perfect size for underneath sink (one side).

Installed this in new kitchen. Had a previous model of same brand and fit perfect. Easy to install. Follow directions exactly before drilling holes.
