Yes, it also leaves a smell of warm plastic. It fades after several uses, but the smell of popcorn/oil is permanent.

Surprised that it works only on 120V after receiving it!!

It only works on 120V which i didnt know except after receiving it and I had to buy an expensive converter in a very short time to be able to use it in the party, this should be clearly communicated or at least on the package print and not in the manual fine print as it is now since it is sold in UK from UK seller.
