Review: Very nice finish and weight, came with adaptor for old standard valve - This is a very nice, heavy chrome faucet handle, with a light escutcheon- I updated an old chateau faucet with a standard moen valve (no pressure equalization) and it fit perfectly. Not clear in the description is that it came with the brass adapter required to fit a moentrol trim kit to a standard valve, so I had ordered the adapter seperately and then didn’t need it. The reason for the adapter is that this kit and any for newer valves will have screw holes in the 1:30/7:30 positions instead of two at the same level toward the bottom such as with many 30-60 year old morn valves. Depth is important- where the plumber installed the valve will matter. If it sticks out a lot from the wall, this handle will stick out. The escutcheon mounts based on the wall- the handle mounts to the valve, and therefore the valve determines how far it will protrude. With the old lucite moen chateau kit, it looks fine protruding, but maybe not so much with kits like this. In the shower I installed this in, it looks fine- in the other bathroom, which valve protrudes by more than an inch, it would look ridiculous. For older standard valves, this is a nice upgrade if the valve doesn’t protrude too much. The old lucite helps mask protruding, this will not. Review: Looks AWESOME! - WOW, I can't stop staring at this trim kit for my Moentrol shower valve! I had a different trim plate installed for the past 10 years, and have been quite happy with it, but when I saw this one on desertcart, it matches my cabinet pulls and the style of my bathroom faucets much better than my prior trim kit! Looks so classy and cool, only minor issue I've noticed is that water spots (hard water in So Cal) show up on this, unless I wipe it dry after taking a shower. Since this looks so cool, I feel like I need to keep it clean and spotless. I plan to get another one of these to install in my guest bathroom! ## Features - COORDINATING COLLECTION: Shower control lever coordinates with other faucets and accessories in the Align Collection - VERSATILE DESIGN: Chrome finish is highly reflective for a mirror-like look that works with any decorating style - VALVE REQUIRED: This trim kit requires valve #3510, 3520, or 3570 to complete the installation - LONGSTANDING FLEXIBILITY: Built on the Moen M-PACT common valve system, allowing you to update the faucet style in the future without replacing any plumbing - PRESSURE BALANCING: Moentrol valve (sold separately) helps maintain water pressure and temperature even when other water sources in the house are in use - ADA COMPLIANT: Complies with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) specifications ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00IJHNS1Y | | Additional Features | Volume Control, Pressure Balancing, ADA Compliance, Longstanding Flexibility | | Best Sellers Rank | #203,840 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #791 in Faucet Trim & Repair Kits | | Brand | Moen | | Brand Name | Moen | | Color | Chrome | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 254 Reviews | | Finish Type | Chrome | | Finish Types | Chrome | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00026508249819 | | Handle Material | Metal | | Handle Type | Lever | | Included Components | Faucet Trim Kit | | Installation Method | Single Hole | | Item Type Name | Moentrol Volume Control Modern Shower Valve Trim Kit Valve Required | | Item Weight | 9 g | | Manufacturer | Moen Incorporated | | Manufacturer Part Number | T3291 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | Limited Lifetime Warranty | | Material | Metal | | Material Type | Metal | | Model Name | Align | | Model Number | T3291 | | Mounting Type | Wall Mount | | Number Of Handles | 1 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Recommended Uses For Product | Bathroom | | Room Type | Bathroom | | Spout Design | Traditional Curve | | Style Name | Modern | | UPC | 026508249819 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Valve Type | Cartridge Valve | | Warranty Type | limited | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Moen - **Color:** Chrome - **Finish Type:** Chrome - **Included Components:** Faucet Trim Kit - **Material:** Metal - **Mounting Type:** Wall Mount - **Number of Handles:** 1 - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Bathroom - **Special Feature:** Volume Control, Pressure Balancing, ADA Compliance, Longstanding Flexibility - **Style:** Modern ## Images ![Moen Align Chrome Moentrol Volume Control Modern Shower Faucet Lever Handle, Valve Required, T3291 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61CZE3Z9huL.jpg) ![Moen Align Chrome Moentrol Volume Control Modern Shower Faucet Lever Handle, Valve Required, T3291 - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81diYyZ9MKL.jpg) ![Moen Align Chrome Moentrol Volume Control Modern Shower Faucet Lever Handle, Valve Required, T3291 - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81Gex3V5ewL.jpg) ![Moen Align Chrome Moentrol Volume Control Modern Shower Faucet Lever Handle, Valve Required, T3291 - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71jMmDpIvSL.jpg) ![Moen Align Chrome Moentrol Volume Control Modern Shower Faucet Lever Handle, Valve Required, T3291 - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71wyrbAR7jL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Pattern, Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does it still work as pull/push system (pull to open flow, push to stop) or does it convert to up/down (move lever up start, down to stop)?** A: It is push/pull for variable water pressure and twist left/right for variable temperature. **Q: Why is this not offered in black?!? IT's the main control and everything else comes in black?** A: Moen does not offer this trim in Moentrol in the black finish. The trim that does come in black would be the standard Align T2191BL that does not use a Moentrol rough-in. **Q: What is the material?** A: Hello and thank you for your interest in the Moen T3291BN Align Moentrol Volume Control Modern Shower Valve Trim Kit, Valve Required, Brushed Nickel. Both the escutcheon plate and handle are metallic. If you have additional questions, please feel free to call us at 800-289-6636. Our current business hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am - 5:30 pm (Eastern Time). **Q: I don't see the tub filler in the pics of this kit. Is it included or just shower trim kit?** A: it is just a trim kit for valve ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very nice finish and weight, came with adaptor for old standard valve *by M***H on January 9, 2024* This is a very nice, heavy chrome faucet handle, with a light escutcheon- I updated an old chateau faucet with a standard moen valve (no pressure equalization) and it fit perfectly.
