Ikea fittings a bit over priced but needed asap so well worth the extra cost and was perfect for replacement

Wrong hole alignment
The three screw holes on this bracket are in straight alignment. The genuine Ikea piece (and the bed) have the centre hole sitting slightly higher than the left and right ones. They're close enough the you can screw in by angling the centre screw downward when drilling in and side screws upwards; but this leads to the bracket sitting ever so slightly higher than it should, and this can be felt of lying in the middle of the bed.

Saved My IKEA Bed
My son jumped on our IKEA bed one too many times and the metal support beam broke, snapping one of the brackets in half in the process. IKEA sells replacement beams, but not the hardware because of course that would make too much sense.. I thought I was going to have to buy an entire new bedframe until a Reddit discussion about broken IKEA beds led me to these IKEA replacement parts. It took all of 10 minutes to attach the new IKEA support beam to the frame and everything is as good as new.
