I was told that it sounded a bit better. I usually game in the basement so there's a lot of vent noise, and this helped with that along with some setting adjustments of course. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for Samson CO1U *by on Reviewed in the United States February 20, 2026* I bought this for my trusty old Samson C01U since it has similar dimensions to the AT2020. I carefully stretched it around the mic with no problems. The one drawback is that if you put it all the way on, it covers the indicator light (I don't use it anyway). It sure beats the way overpriced windscreen that's on Amazon specifically for the CO1U and now I have a backup in case it gets ripped at some point.I did a test recording with and without and while it didn't 100% remove the high frequency ambient air noise, it cut it down significantly. This means I don't have to compensate as much with noise removal software, increasing the quality of my recordings.
