I LOVE this label printer, seriously
As a small time seller, I was doing things old school for years - hand writing each label, stating in line at the post office, paying the retail shipping costs. It was fine for what I was doing - just a hobby/etra this and that. Nov. 2022 I thought about if I wanted to up my game a little, venture into a few newer markets, etc. The postal clerks were always saying "hey you know you can save if you do online shipping"... that planted the seed. Most of the printers out there were still doing the paper/ink wastefulness of using a 8x10 sheet of paper for something that only needs to be 6x4 inches - ugh too much waste and hassle isn't there something better? Digging around the web I kept seeing ROLLO pop up here and there. But didn't look seriously until I started digging around on Amazon. Well, after I viewed a few printer, Amazon sent me lots of "hey you checked this out, how about this one?" One had this unit, so I clicked curious to find out more. Well I found out that this one did check off some important features I thought I wanted: -small footprint -does just the label size 6x4 ...or smaller (maybe 2x3 or 4?) haven't tried anything but the 6x4 myself -gosh no INK - sign me up right now!! Then there were those neat features: -WIFI capable - don't know about you, but I LOVE the FREDOM of being cable less. I can be in one room on the other side of the house as the printer, and BING! does it's job... priceless!! As long as I'm in the wifi range I can print from anywhere - computer, cell phone, tablet... oh yeah I've even gone the "I'm too lazy to get out of bed at this moment" however I can do still do a tiny bit of work by clicking print and it's ready to go to the next phase when I get around to it, lol - ah, modern conveniences. -Came with some sample labels so I could start printing right away the moment I opened the box, nice touch thanks! -It's Mac friendly, dons't matter that much these days as it did several years ago - but it's nice to have that support across all the systems - android, windows, Mac, google, etc? I used so many systems they all have they good/bads I tended to stick more to the Mac side since it was more of the music/art stuff I was into when computing than crunching numbers/databases/programming. But I would imagine if it works this well on the Mac I'm sure it's just as nice if not better? in the windows world - not tech guy though and currently don't use much else than my iPhone, MacBook and occasional tablet. The price: - Yes, I do admit this one was a hard one to decide on. In Nov '22 it was more than it is now, maybe because it was newer at that time? That price point wasn't out of reach for me (well the credit limit on my card lol), but I did have to make every penny count for several months as it was not something I can just drop $300 on a moments notice. After I got through the wild holiday season, I knew this one was the absolute right purchase for me. Not only did that $300 come right back in that short sales session/madness (Yes I LOVE me some Christmas, LOL) but I had more than doubled my business, just with the help of this little printer. I got to the point where I found the max amount of items I can personally handle a day realistically, and its actually about 2/3rds MORE sales per day than where I was a year ago before this printer. Worth it? YEP NO QUESTION!!! If you're on the fence, jump off now and go for it. Some ways I kick myself for not doing it earlier, however I think this one came along at just the right time for me and now I know what exactly I want in a label printer. This one checks all the marks and then some. I did learn a ton from doing things the old school way, and for some things that works perfectly. but now I go this. No more lines, cheaper rates than retail out there (just do your homework first before jumping into a "great offer you can't pass up") - even Rollo has their own service via app/web that offers those same great rates plus connects to channels - I however have not used those features yet, not sure if those apply to my specific needs or not. However nice to have them should those needs arise someday. If you're on a tight budget like me, it might hurt at first - I'm okay with eating "top ramen" for a month if needed. If I were in a position to have more than one, you bet I would - but that's only in fantasy land, real world you gotta pay your bills AND eat - one is enough! I will be purchasing Rollo printers, they have proven to be a quality unit. Well worth the investment. It's not cheap, but when you need packages to get there and be consistent, do you really want to cheap out? Not me. The labels I got through amazon "9527 Product" work very well, stick nicely to all box surfaces, and are priced nicely as well. I'll keep going to them for the labels, here on amazon they do have some great deals which can be a nice bonus, but well worth the reg price @ .02/label. Thanks Rollo and Amazon!! Happy customer!! :)

Fast, Reliable, and Super Easy to Use
The Rollo wireless label printer has been a huge upgrade for my shipping setup. The WiFi setup was quick and the app makes it simple to print from my phone or laptop without dealing with cables. The print quality is sharp and consistent and the labels come out fast with no jams. It works with any 4x6 thermal labels which helps save money compared to buying special refills. The printer is quiet compact and fits perfectly on my desk. If you ship packages often this printer will save you time money and frustration. It has been one of the best tools for my business.

Convenient without issues
I was skeptical of the Rollo promise, especially having worked with DYMO 4-inch label printers in the past that always seemed to meet their expiration rather prematurely in light-workload environments. I suspected I'd run into a situation where it wanted me to do something I wasn't willing to do like run unsigned drivers or kernel extensions, or where it was inconsistent or required too much of my time to keep it running. In practice, though, that couldn't be further from my experience, which has been great. It set up quickly and easily with the iOS app, and from there it was available on AirPrint. I needed to be able to print from my computer mostly, but having it available to AirPrint to from my phone from time to time has been handy. I figured I'd only use this for 4" shipping labels for my business, but I picked up some 2" circle labels that turn blue (vs black) to see about short-run decorative thank-you stickers and found it was reasonable for that too. The way it automatically figures out the size of the labels that have been loaded is quite convenient, and for me it has worked reliably. I love that it doesn't waste labels when loading and unloading. The web interface for the printer has been handy too—I used it to adjust the quality and offset parameters to try to align the circle labels perfectly in the center. I didn't spend much time with it so I didn't get it quite perfect, but I was doing edge-to-edge prints and got it pretty dang close in about 5 minutes. I'm sure if I fiddle some more I’ll get it working, but it was mostly a proof of concept for me. I haven't had to contact support for anything and I've put around 150 labels through it over the last couple months. On two occasions I've needed to restart it after the power blipped briefly, and while it's a bit slow to boot up and get ready, it doesn't require any further intervention for it to be up and running again. So far I'm happy with taking a chance on it and I hope it'll continue to perform well as I get closer to 1 year of use on it. Update: October 2024, around 8 months in and still going well. I have had two instances where I had to reboot the printer a few times in a row to get the WiFi reconnected, but other than that it’s been flawless. I’ve gone through around 600 4x6 labels in that time, plus maybe 100-200 smaller 2x1 labels, for reference. No jams, no clogs, no misprints, no wasted labels.

amazing printer, i use it wired as the app only works in US, so i guess the cheaper rollo would be better in unsupported countries. i wish i read the comments before buying the wireless one. hopefully someday the app might get supported. Edit : they updated the app and it’s working to some degree in UAE.

I bought the wireless printer, but the app cannot install in my country. So I had to install the driver for wired version. The driver keeps forgetting the label size settings every time system is shut down. So must select label size every system start up.

The app is not compatible in UAE, shame although the machine had 5 stars review
