This screen protector I definitely recommend gives you privacy. Easy installation, perfect for when you're working out in the public.

This privacy screen was a waste of money. I purchased it because I work in different settings and based on past experience, wanted something that would prevent people around me from reading private information on my computer. I followed the included instructions carefully when applying the screen. Unfortunately, people standing behind or near me can still read my screen clearly. I even tried repositioning my laptop and flipping the screen protector to make sure it wasn’t a user error. It wasn’t. To be fair, the screen protector looks nice and fits my laptop well. The problem is that it simply doesn’t provide the privacy it claims to provide. I had several different people test it, and every single one of them was able to read my screen without any difficulty. So much for privacy! One of my coworkers recommended a $15 privacy screen that works very well for him. I’ll be purchasing that one instead. I can’t recommend this product to anyone.

I recently purchased the SightPro 15.6 Inch Laptop Privacy Screen Filter for my widescreen laptop, and I have mixed feelings about it. The screen filter itself seems to work well in blocking the view of my screen from prying eyes, but the installation process was quite frustrating. The adhesive that comes with the screen filter is quite tricky to install, and the instructions provided are very vague. The only instructions provided are a series of pictures on the box itself, which are not very helpful. In hindsight, wish I had looked on YouTube for an installation guide, because by the time I had finished installation, there were quite a number of imperfections like smudges on the inside of the privacy screen, air bubbles. That being said, it does fit my laptop screen well and provides a little peace of mind when I'm working in a public area. However, the difficulty of the installation process and the lack of clear instructions make me hesitant to recommend this product to others. While this privacy screen filter does its job well, the installation process can be frustrating and time-consuming. If you are willing to put in the effort to properly install the adhesive, then this product may work well for you. However, if you are looking for a quick and easy solution, you may want to look elsewhere.

This privacy screen does exactly what it's supposed to by limiting the viewing angle while keeping the display clear from the front. It was easy to install, and the removable design is convenient when I don't need it. The screen is a little darker with the filter on, but that's expected and a worthwhile tradeoff for the added privacy.

I love this screen for privacacy. I had a student recently tell me that my computer was not on and asked how I could see the screen. It fit my screen perfectly, too.
