I hosted a Barbie High Tea this last weekend. This book was perfect. It gave a lot of information especially about vintage barbies and the clothing they wore.

A Basic Overview Of Barbie History
As with other reviewers I was really hoping for more information on the 2000s era dolls. In the past the dolls were really well documented from the 1960s to 1990s, unfortunately with the advent of the internet there doesn't seem to be the same kind of interest there used to be. A book on 2000 to 2015 is really needed. That being said, this is not a bad little book. It has a nice section on the first Fashionista Barbie dolls, which comes in handy when trying to identify used dolls. There's a cute double sided poster one can post on their bulletin board, the size of the book fits easily in a purse for light reading on the go. The colors are vivid, the pages are high quality, I peruse it quite often when searching Ebay for dolls.
