More than likely this would be the remote that fits a 2001 mustang. Quick search of Google images for "2001 ford mustang keyfob" shows pictures and shopping ads for it. So it probably is.

Has anyone gotten these to work on 2010 Ford Fusion that doesn’t currently have a programmed remote

it says end the 8 times sequence in the run position, for ford escape it worked when you did it 8 times, but ended in the off position. plus make sure your doors are shut, and i've seen videos where people got one to work with doors unlocked, mine only worked when i started with doors locked. There are also some cars that program after 4 times instead of 8, but the vast majority are 8 times. Try different methods, doors locked, then doors unlocked, then try 8 times ending in off position with doors locked then try ending in off position with them unlocked, it will be a little frustrating, but chances are you'll get it to work.
