It was used occasionally by an adult, not a scratch on the exterior yet, but apparently the inside is the same poor quality as the knockoffs. Another downside is, the Time Timer has only 1 alarm mode which lasts about 2 seconds (so it can be easily missed if you're in another room or unintentionally ignored when you get distracted or when hyperfocussing on a task, the alarm is just too short and subtle). The knockoffs timers I had before all had multiple alarm durations: 3 or 30 seconds (which could be stopped with a button on top) and I will probably repurchase a Yunbaoit if they still exist. Mine stops at "59", leaving a bit of white space.** A: The red disks for the Time Timer MOD® have a clear edge and will sometimes appear as though your timer can only be set to 59 minutes. The optional beep at the end of timing may also seem to be delayed by a few seconds because the entire disk, including the clear edge, must complete the rotation before time will be up. I am quite ADHD-ish and hard for me not to get distracted. This has been a lifesaver, and now I can relax a little bit instead of staring at the time for 15 minutes before a meeting just so that I don't get distracted and be late.
