## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Attention sailors - here is your new sexy boom brake you can afford..
*by on Reviewed in Canada 7 April 2026*

Solid build, well polished and surprisingly heavy. I'm using it as a replacement for a sailboat style (and marine/yacht style price) boom brake on a 40 foot sailboat - works perfectly for a fraction of the money.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Accurate product description !!!!! Good purchase and good price !!!!!

Excellent descender ------The product description is accurate. I am very satisfied with this purchase. The price was reasonable and the item was delivered in good condition. I may consider purchasing this item again or at least recommend it to other people.Accurate product description !!!!! Good purchase and good price !!!!!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very sturdy, well made, in USA
*by on Reviewed in the United States 22 February 2025*

While it may weigh more than a stock aluminum, having a steel fig 8 on the line is far safer and this descender is working so well, I don't mind the extra weight at all. It is good steel, made in the USA (according to the label). Came quickly and in excellent condition, and it works like a dream. Recommend if you need one.
