How we use it: Our home has an extensive Lutron automation system which is fabulous. And a great feature is that it integrates with Alexa to bring voice control to our whole home. However, Lutron does not make a controllable duplex outlet - go figure / makes no sense. That's where these outlets come in a fill the gap. While we cannot control them with the Lutron system, since we now do everything via Alexa voice control (or pre-programmed Routines), these integrated easily with routines and schedules appropriate for our use.
