Works quite well with Arduino
This product is the quality one would expect from Adafruit. It was quite easy to use and works very well. I did discover that the PWM output is easily picked-up by a mini audio amplifier I had sitting next to it on a breadboard. I moved the controller away and that fixed the problem. I would suggest that if you have a similar application you should use shielded wire to connect the Arduino PWM pins to the motor controller.

Simple, compact, 12v, flip-flop/reversing driver
When the IR switch failed on my old CCTV box camera the only available replacement was too heavy for the original drive. I was able to use the assembled module to interface the drive and the new IR switch using resisters to limit the current draw. As shown in the attached pic the module nested nicely in the limited space.

very flexible motor controller
easy to control speed and direction of a motor. ideal for model railroading. good current capability.

Nice easy to use driver board
Nice easy to use driver board. One thing that wasn't clear to me was that when using an external power source you still need to ground back to the data control side else the motor stays in a "hunt" mode. While in this mode, removing either signal line will cause the motor to run in one direction or another.

Damaged/Defective motor-driver
All three motor-driver I bought are defective. After 5V in power input the output is always 0v . Seems they were damaged in some point when imported to Mexico or they are defective.

Big power small footprint
Cant go wrong with Adafruit products. Always quality and rarely a issue.
