Review: A decent writing pen. - I wanted a more unique and higher end pen. This one very much piqued my interest. Design and color wise. So far, it writes very well. With my style of writing a finer tip helps me keep more legible. It is possible they have fixed past issues. Mine writes smoothly and consistently. The body is mostly plastic with a metal grip and clip. I find it comfortable and fashionable. The grip focuses the weight of the pen towards the tip. Unfortunately, mine fell out of my pocket and hit the blacktop. It survived well and has unnoticeable scars. I was not using the clip at the time. Just in my front pocket and snagged by my keys. It's a tad longer than other pens I own. The only negative I could have is with switching out the ink cartridge. It's held in there rather firmly. Review: WOW - Of course! It doesn't disappoint! I love pens that are fine point and this is smooth. I am impressed and I also love the blank ink. I can't wait to get refills for this pen as I've seen it available on here. Thanks! ## Features - 0.38mm oil-based ballpoint pen - Ink Color : Black - Jetstream Ink is smooth writing - Refill : SXR-203-28 (Black Red Blue) ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08WPQ9NZQ | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Age range (description) | Adult | | Animal Theme | no animal theme | | Best Sellers Rank | 50,956 in Stationery & Office Supplies ( See Top 100 in Stationery & Office Supplies ) 646 in Retractable Ballpoint Pens | | Body Shape | Cylindrical | | Brand | uni | | Brand Name | uni | | Closure Type | Click-Off Cap | | Colour | Blue,Red,Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 643 Reviews | | Drill Point | Fine | | Grip Type | Knurled | | Included Components | Refill | | Ink Base | Hybrid | | Ink Colour | Black | | Ink colour | Black | | Is the Product Left or Right Handed? | Ambidextrous | | Item Diameter | 0.38 Millimetres | | Item Dimensions | 12 x 11 x 143 millimetres | | Line Size | 0.38mm | | Manufacturer | Uni | | Material | Metal, Plastic | | Material Type | Metal, Plastic | | Model Name | SXN100338BK15 | | Model Number | SXN100338BK15 | | Recommended Uses For Product | Writing | | Special Features | Refillable | | Style | Modern | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | | Writing Instrument Form | Ballpoint Pen | | Writing Technique | ballpoint | | Writing instrument form | Ballpoint Pen | ## Product Details - **Age range (description):** Adult - **Brand:** uni - **Colour:** Blue,Red,Black - **Ink colour:** Black - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 12 x 11 x 143 millimetres - **Material:** Metal, Plastic - **Model name:** SXN100338BK15 - **Point type:** Fine - **Special feature:** Refillable - **Writing instrument form:** Ballpoint Pen ## Images ![Jetstream EDGE 0.38mm Oil-based Ballpoint Pen, Black Red Body (SXN100338BK15) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/612Bo7bLxHL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: What refill can I use?** A: You can use Jetstream Edge refills or Jetstream Multi refills. I don’t buy them on Amazon. Not sure if I can say this but I buy them from Tokyo Pen Shop online **Q: How do I replace the ink pens** A: Pull from the grip down, without twisting to expose the cartridges, then pull the cartridge you want to replace out. **Q: How can I get the .38mm refills for this and will they fit in this pen?** A: Uni SXR-80-38 fits this pen and is in the 0.38mm size (hence the “38” at the end). **Q: Is there a way to tell which tip you are selecting?** A: only if the refill is the .28 - the .38 & .5 refills look alike but write differently ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A decent writing pen. *by C***D on 25 March 2026* I wanted a more unique and higher end pen. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ WOW *by K***- on 16 June 2024* Of course! It doesn't disappoint! I love pens that are fine point and this is smooth. I am impressed and I also love the blank ink. I can't wait to get refills for this pen as I've seen it available on here. Thanks! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent for those with fine/small handwriting *by B***H on 1 August 2026* If you have fine/small handwriting, these 0.28mm and 0.38mm pens are amazing workhorses. While not as smooth as a gel pen (such as Pilot Hi-Tec-C) or black/dark as a fineliner (such as Sakura Pigma Micron), the Jetstream Edge feels like it can handle just about anything. I keep my gel and fineliner pens for my own clean paper (journals, etc). I use the Jetstream Edge at my workplace, where the surface I'm writing on might have passed through many, many dirty, oily hands, and they just keep going. The body of the pen will take either sized refill. The refills are easy to swap out, and readily available in multi packs. ## Frequently Bought Together - Uni Jetstream EDGE 0.38mm Oil-based Ballpoint Pen, Black Red Body (SXN100338BK15) - Uni Jetstream EDGE 0.28mm Oil-based Ballpoint Pen, Champagne Gold Body (SXN100328.25) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/424127693-jetstream-edge-0-38mm-oil-based-ballpoint-pen-black-red](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/424127693-jetstream-edge-0-38mm-oil-based-ballpoint-pen-black-red) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-11-07*
