Steel? Iron? Other?** A: They aren't weighted. They are made of a light wood and are maybe a little heavier than plastic chess pieces. **Q: What is the base size of the king?** A: Almost an inch **Q: How heavy are they? Do they fall over easily?** A: They do have a weighted bottom and felt. We have not played with them yet they are a Christmas present. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful Chess Set *by on Reviewed in the United States April 21, 2026* This is a beautifully unique chess set.
