Seasonings Tin

I came across the product when i last visited the USA, in Chesapeake bay, sea food house. It is a great seasoning that has a unique taste and can be used on many food products. So when i saw it sold in the UK i immediately purchased a tin.

Bought this because of the fab packaging - spices don’t come in little tins in the UK - it reminds me of my mother’s spice rack. We use this for roasties and homemade chips/potato wedges cooked in the air-fryer, it makes them crisp & flavoursome. No heat to it which is perfect. Good value for money, a nice size, and did I mention the wonderful packaging? Highly recommend.

The order came within the time given. I'm no new to this product so I will say it does make your food taste better, smells good & it's more affordable on here than in the shops however, I'm not pleased at how close this expiry date it & that's the only reason I gave it 4stars.

I purchased this on recomendation from my daugher, I love the retro designed packaging and sits well on the herbs and spices shelf with my other retro tins. I'm not convinced by the taste unfortunately, I coated some chicken thighs with it and when I ate them they had an overpowering taste of cinnamon, which is odd as thats not a listed ingredient, maybe it was nutmeg or allspice I could taste? Next time I use it I will give the tin a good mix, just in case, otherwise I'll just use some extra spices of my own to hopefully change the overall ballance of flavours.
