These are a nice replacement to fill my Cuisinart knife block. The original steak knives were cheap, and the plastic broke after about 2 years. These are made well and designed not to break. They should last 20 years or more.

This knife set is a good find and a decent quality for the price. I needed replacements for a very old set, and needed the right size and black handles to match the others in my knife block. These are a good fit and they look nice. The knives are light weight and are serrated. I love serrated but would prefer the serrations to be a little smaller. I know instructions on any knives say to hand wash instead of using the dishwasher, but I always put them in the dishwasher. These washed very well. They feel like they will be sturdy enough and for such a great price, I am pleased with them.

Overall, these would be punching way above their price tag, if only the wavy, serrated cutting edge wasn't TERRIBLE. The serrated edge is quite wavy, side to side, which causes a very rough "handsaw-like" cut, especially on steak. The knives simply cannot cleanly cut a steak, chicken breast, or pork chop. The edge of the meat gets a very rough, and almost "ground-up" burger-type texture, if you catch my meaning. I don't mind a slightly rough texture on my steak edges, but these are just way too rough to be anything better than a 3 star. I will say that flavor-wise, the very rough edge will actually bring out a little bit more flavor, because it is also "grinding" the side of the meat as it "cuts" through. When I'm eating steak though, I'm not trying to create ground burger on the side of it, I just want my nice steak slice. The build quality seems to be great for everything else, especially considering the low price of the set. The steel seems to be of fair quality, and the handles, and rivets, also seem to be very tight fit as well. The blades seem to be quite robust, and durable. However, that super wavy edge, just grinds it down to only 3 stars.

Excelente producto. Cortan muy bien y tienen el peso adecuado.

All the handles discoloured after first wash; one of the knife has a permanent stain(corrosion like) after first wash. Another knife was rusty after third wash, perhaps not dried immediately. How is this being labeled as "Stainless Steel" at the product description? I have had steak knife from another brand for more than 4 years and none of the above unpleasant experience occured. Will not purchase from Cuisinart in future.

These are sharp, sturdy knives for a good price. They are exactly what I was looking for. The only downside is they had rust spots in the dishwasher after first use...so I hand wash them.
