blomus 65033 Bird Feeder/Bird Bath

I like modern and this is the ONLY feeder i could find that looks great and keeps squirrels away. it is the perfect height, just tall enough to keep them from jumping. i have no idea how long it will last in Florida summers, the rain may ruin the wood finish. But i have had it a week and was very satisfied with my purchase. I plan to purchase a second. One for the water and one for the seeds.I have no idea why other reviews mention it leaks. it was easy to put together and i looked at the directions of course.the only issue i have is how it goes into ground. i was able to soften the earth and push it in really hard. but i feel it may need more help to get in deeper. But that is not an issue and I will figure it out. aside from that, I am happy with everything else.

We liked the look of this modern, usual Bird Feeder/Bath, but after receiving it became apparent the description was a bit lacking. For example the bottom of the wood post is simply ground to a point. There is no metal stake or support to make sure the post will stay straight up and down once in the ground. Additional you need to decide if you want the wooden "perch" or the top cover on. You can't use them together. Lastly it can NOT be used as a Bird Bath. There are holes drilled into the base plate. At $200 this should be a better product and better pictures and description should be included to make informed decisions. We were disappointed and returned.

Poorly packaged/shipped on the part of the seller. The box was ripped up by the time it arrived. The box that it was sent in should not have been used as a shipping box, it was that very thin and very flexible cardboard that is frequently used as packing material in other shipments, it was not the normal strong cardboard that a shipped box should use.Product itself is very far from meeting expectations. Cheap wood that was barely stained - I was expecting nice wood that was well colored. Within a few days the top part started to discolor (not shown in the amazon pic, but the top silver dome gets replaced with a small wooden disc when you use it as a bird bath). The main post was already laughably light (think of what happens when you start to stain wood, but you just barely wipe a cloth of stain over it once, so just a touch of color at the very surface and only in some areas). Within 2 months the top disc has basically lost all of its color, and both the disc and pole have started to crack.

This is lovely, albeit small, bird bath/feeder. Problem is, it doesn't hold water. There are actually HOLES in the bowl for some reason. It comes with a gasket that is presumably to block them, but it doesn't work--the thing leaked quickly the first time I put it together and more slowly the second.If you're just looking for an attractive, modern feeder, this is a good choice. If you're looking for a bird bath, this is not the item for you, unfortunately.

pole was too short. not enough space between bottom and upper plate. can't be converted into bird bath b/c of holes.over-priced.

The box arrived damaged -- it was a Father's Day gift that we just opened and learned the base is missing!! This is way too expensive for something with missing parts!!

fell over and broke apart on grass. Id expect that on concrete but this was on grass.
