I tune down to drop C and these are the perfect gauge to where I get that thick, deep sound and they don't rattle. Also, it may be me but these strings seem to last way longer between changing than most strings I've used in the past. I usually need to change strings after every 1-2 gigs (or about 6 songs into recording an album) but these last several months before there's a noticeable drop in tonal quality, which in the long run saves me a great deal of time and money. Loving Dunlop these days!!
